I hope there are others out there who feel as strongly! The Big Ten has taken a hit to its reputation due to some very HIGH PROFILE losses (which includes OSU's debacle against UF) recently. I would never say I'm rooting for UM but christ guys, Appalachian State!!!!!! Come on, represent!!!
Say what you want, and enjoy the laughter. But the fact is, on this day ASU came to play. They weren't intimidated, they were a half-step ahead most of the game, and they NEVER gave up. You gotta love it!
@josh19852008 We chant SEC when we beat teams from other conferences. UF LSU & bama are 3 teams winning the last 7 NC's & we have good close rival games in the SEC. The SEC never loses bowl games.
And I'd only have to add this to that statement, App St of 07 could hang with some of the mid to lower teams in those conferences YES! But not year in year out, even the subpar recruiting classes of those bottom tier top conference teams recruit better "year to year" App St would graduate guys and face some 1-10 and 2=9 years for sure... Still, a BEAUTIFUL WKND for App St and their fans!
Good point. I don't agree with they would beat every Big 10 team and D1 schools regulary. But I do think they could hang in many conferences mid standings. Even the big 10/12, etc. Because most conf have 2 or 3 great teams and then a huge drop. SEC maybe 4-5. It would be interesting to watch.
i agree completely. michigan didnt play bad Appalachian just outplayed them. people need to respect my college more, we may be 1aa but were damn good. i just think people have a hard time admitting that a 1aa team can and is better than alot of division 1 teams.

How many times in his career has Mike Hart played a full game. Seems like he hasn't had one completely injury free season in college. Even the one year he played every game, he missed major portions of some games.
Actually Michigan is the BEST team in NCAA history with more wins and national titles than any other team in the country. Oh yea Mich-57 Ohio State-41, Ties-6(those games must have really sucked, a tie in this game must feel worse than a winless season). And OSU prob won't catch up in my lifetime if they ever do

REISB4, i agree with you 100%...Wolverines suck. But i did manage to catch the second half of that game and bitchighan mae alot of mental mistakes and they could have easily came back and won...but not to take anything from ASU,they have a hell of a team.They deserve to be ranked in the top 25

Must be the adrenaline, since you don't play again we'll just wait til you beat a team in your own ranks (lower) on a fluke play, last second game breaker,last second field goal.That is the game where you can look and say, shit, we'd have been crushed in D1..even against Michigan :-) Yah, if you played them again, they'd win..
