I show the procedures I had done to remove and Install the harmonic balancer and front crankshaft seal. The seal is cheap enough to get OEM, don't cheap out on aftermarket. That is an Important Seal!!!
@ end of video that sound is my ac clutch disengaging.
Truck runs fine, preventive maintenance.
Lubricate the seal, shaft, and the housing where seal rides on.

About to replace my water pump and front seals. To find a coolant leak when i stop engine. Great video!

Thanks for sharing bro..wish I'd seen before replaced mine..didn't put sealant on woodruff key so will likely start seeping oil in short time. I'll end up taking it back off.

What do you use to lubricate the seal , shaft and housing? Clean motor oil?

I didn’t catch how you got the old sealout. Did you just pry it out with a flat head?

How far does the harmonic balancer go in? Is there a stopping point? Thank you buddy

Yes. When you crank it down with the tool you will feel it start bottoming out. It will not be able to go in any further. Thanks 4 watching.
