Another tip to save the o-ring from getting chewed up is don't unscrew the nut with the o-ring. Unscrew the filter. That way the o-ring doesn't get damaged.
@@brendakeiffer4039 hold the wrench on the nut on the line. Break the seal on the filter on both ends and then you won't damage the seal, or you can buy the seals (o-rings) at any automotive store for about .25 cents each. They are a brown o-ring that you need, I forget what the material they are made of, I think it's neoprene but not sure.
We got a 1998 Chevrolet Express Gladiator Cargo Van one owner ! The ignition switch was trash replaced it ! Now the van backfired almost stalling when floorboard the gas up hill ! Tried cleaner helped but need a replacement every two years anyway ! Ready to install OEM fuel filter only 30 bucks ! Two questions : best parts ? Where do I get fuel filter washers if destroy original or it's no good?
Hello! I enjoy your videos. I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. On the third rear door, the top door lock rod clip broke. I got a replacement clip, but it seems the rod is too short to reach the hole it goes into. is there a special way to fix it?
