1999 Honda Civic HX Review
(6th Gen Honda Civic or ek civic coupe)
The best Civic generation ever!
Lightweight, smooth shifting and perfect pedal placement put this near the top of my favorites list, ranking the many cars that I have owned. Maybe one of the slowest too, but 40mpg!
Purchased in the fall of 2022 with 188k miles on the clock. As of this video shoot it had just shy of 204k miles.
Modifications are as follows

Front shock tower DC2 CSB1315 purchased from ProCivic
Rear shock tower DC2 CSB2310
Suspension:
Koni Sport shocks, adjustable ride height from ASR. (Set on lowest perch setting and to full soft)
OE EM1 Civic Si springs from eBay, mint condition
OE EM1 Civic SI 13mm rear sway bar (RSB) from parts dismantler, refinished with Rustoleum
OE Honda RSB mounting brackets (last in USA supply system)
RSB backing plates from ASR
Titanium 15mm Flange Bolts from Acer Racing
RSB end links
All new rear suspension bushings, using mostly OE Honda Parts to include: Upper and lower control arms, compensator arms, new shock mounts and mount bushings

Front: A/C Delco gold rebuilt OEM brake calipers, Stoptech stainless steel brake lines 950.40007 from Summit Racing, Akebono ACT brake pads
Rear: Integra rear trailing arm disc brake conversion rust-free shipped from California, A/C Delco gold rebuilt OEM Nissin brake calipers, Stoptech stainless steel brake lines 950.40500, Akebono ACT brake pads, parking brake cables
Fresh Prestone Dot3 Synthetic fluid, fully bled and rock hard pedal. No ABS
