We finally got the Mitsubishi Eclipse running with the complete gsx rear end suspension and gas tank on! We faced some fuel leaks and problems but got resolved immediately.
Stay tuned for the following videos were we take the evo 8 motor from the front end and finish the awd swap!

be careful with hanging your caliper like that ( 8:19 ) because of the stress you're putting on the line. Sit it on something instead

So just to refresh my memory, and others as well, this was originally an Eclipse RS with 420a engine that U put an EVO motor in with parts from 3g Eclipse, gen 2 3000GT, and AWD swap from 2G GSX(Mr. Memo find in a junk yard), and some other tiny upgrades? Correct? SO this is an " ECLIPSE EVOLUTION GSX" ? A An Eclipse 2G-C? hahahahaha bad ass this gotta make MOD 2019! #SaveTheEclipse #SaveTheTalon #SaveTheLaser #El Eclipse Salvaje.

@@MiguelDsm got real honesty. I can appreciate that. I was 21-22 bought it after my neighbor ran me and my Plymouth breeze into a pole at 70mph. Got ripped off on a timing job, paid 350$but it ran for a year. Thanks for honesty I'm really impressed.

Man, these cars bring back memories bro! Holyshit I had a 1999 Black GSX back in 2004, it only lasted a year tho, NOT to "unreliability" cause these DSMs were built strong if you didn't over boost on the stock turbo. Anyway long story short I was super unexperienced with AWD turbos and a cocky lil shit and ended up wrapping my GSX around a tree. But nowadays you can barely find well sorted DSM's for sale. there getting rare. Treasure yours my guy!

nothing like the feeling when you get done it runs and drives now the fun part getting driveshafts TC in and then it will be all wheel drive but i think their is some driveshaft hanger brackets that is welded in the tunnel so may have to find those next and get them spot welded back into the car can't fully remember since its been awhile since i was under mine but if i remember right they had brackets to hold shaft.

@@MiguelDsm check on FB Miguel and look for miller import parts they should have some of them they carry DSM's as a main car in their salvage yard. dealt with them several times and they treated me right on the parts i have ordered though them and they normally only sell the best parts they have on hand.

@@MiguelDsm he replies faster if you call them since he doesn't seem to check messages often but they should have everything you may need make sure its the same year on transfer case and tranny for splines and gearing too they had two different gear sets in our second gens. and two different spline counts on shafts.

Well the GST is turbo charged and thus easier to build up to output higher horsepower numbers The genesis however is newer and less prone to rust ect. Plus if you got the time and money you could probably turbo it
