I started looking into the starion for my next build about 5 hours ago and I think I have found mike 8 times between RU-vid, and a slew of forums including supra mania when he did this swap
Just watched this on the smoking tire. I have a 1jz non vvdi I am putting into my supra mk4. That is real good power coming from the mods listed. These engines are amazing. Mine has just been rebuilt before installing. I had ARP bolts with all OEM gaskets and seals done. Should make good power with a single. Keep up the good work.

+Thugnasty P you should make it easy. As long as you have big enough injectors. If I can do it stock you can do it with a standalone. Running a Bosch 044 pump.
I have ID1000's so I should be good. Cool are you almost maxing it out? Been searching for a good pump for a while now, I just don't want to deal with fuel starvation when playing with that kind of boost/hp.
Congratulations on your build I am putting an LS3 stroker with twin turbos on my 86 wide body Starion. I wouldn’t mind a JZ but they are pretty expensive here in Las Vegas with everyone in California trying to grab them. I’m starting out with a 418 Stroker then adding twins when the money gets right, but then again I might not need to depending on how it handles with 3 times the power. Are you having any drive ability problems, you know handling wise?

Thanks I was wondering, because I love driving in the mountains 🏔 as well as hitting a few highway pulls and the strip here in Vegas I’m going with a 7 Speed MANual to make sure I’m involved in the driving experience instead of just being a passenger. I’m 50 now so the need to beat everyone every time has somewhat subsided 👨🏾🦳I just want to enjoy the car I’ve been working from a junkyard find, abandoned project car to me for the final leg of it’s journey back to the road with a new healthy heart.
