WORLD"S BEST CHRYSLER CONQUEST !! AND FASTEST TOO!!! If you want to see a bad ass 1988 Chrysler Conquest tsi built in a one car garage. This guys passion is FULL THROTTLE!! Passion built this car!!
You and beautiful beast are freaking geniuses! That is the most amazing Mitsubishi conquest I've ever laid my eyes on! One of my favorite cars of all time!
Great build! I have seen your car run on TV a number of times. Great attitude too! I had an 89 TSi with some mild tweaks. Loved that car! Driving it wfo on the Tail of the Dragon was the most incredible driving experience of my life, and I have had quite a few. I have fun with a 70 Roadrunner 440 6bbl 4 speed now, but I would like another TSi too, this time with a 2jz.
he could probably make a fortune selling LSx v8 conversion kits for this car! I'd trade my SL55 for a streetable version of this dude's Starion/Conquest...
congrats my brother and keep it real as you are now. so sick of bought performance on RU-vid and once in a while video like yours pop up and it's inspiring.
I have been using this Conquest as my desktop background for a few years now......I own a Starion myself and when people ask what it is, or a 240sx is better or this and that, I Google this car and show them what can be done.

I am Peruvian and I have a 1988 Chrysler Conquest and I would like to transform it like the one shown in the video, please could you tell me where I could buy the accessories like ailerons and headlights and other things. I loved how the video car stayed. Thank you, I'm looking forward for your answer
When I was 19 I traded my 1966 Mustang 289ci for a 1986 Conquest TSi.. now, I am kicking myself for trading my mustang for it. The mustang was my first car I bought when I was 15 years old. I had it towed out to my grandparents grass seed farm and my dad helped me build it. Looking back, I should have NEVER gotten rid of my Stang. But, I wanted something new. And a 2.4l inline turbo changed 4 cylinder lsd rear end driven 5 speed car was a nice change. It is what it is, now I am 29 years old with two kids. I don't know if I should buy an old mustang body and tear it completely down and rebuild it and eventually buy a crate engine, or if I should get a Conquest. I love both. Mustang is SO much easier to work on, but who doesn't love a turbo four cylinder??
Hate to say it but heavy V-8 motors "squash out" your front end....I can see it in the videos. Especially in light cars like this. My sister and I both had Starion 85's, and the best quad-digit horsepower engine is the 1JZ/2JZ for it. Sleeve the block, stroke it, add ethanol timing and ignition, stage III turbos bolted to a T-400 and bellhousing adapter, Dana rear, brembos, suspension package and depending on gear ratios you can drift or hit two bills plus mph.
Michael Maxwell no. Starions have little to no aftermarket parts. He makes it all himself and bends it from sheet metal. Most panels are steel on his except for the likes of the stock front bumper. The chinplate and skid pan alongside side skirts are bent metal he made himself. Hoonigan garage have a proper interview on the car itself and it is amazing the quality in it especially now. Looks almost machine done especially the engine bay
I'm not a fan of engine swaps, I'm a purist but this.................. i got chills. Ive NEVER seen anything like this. I need links to the aesthetic mods that aren't hand built. ( ToT)
Jose Maldonado Starion and Conquest are the same car badged for different manufacturers. Similar to the Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse and Plymouth Laser of the early 90's.
