Edwin Valero vs Hiro Bando(from Japan) 2005.09.15 Valero became a Champion and lives in Japan. This is the first match for Valero in Japan. and...Hero Bando is a good boxcer!
I won't pretend to know a alot about boxing but the amount of swings he took at this guy is rather alarming. The first solid hits he gave this guy with 2:22 and 2:19 left in the round would've probably been knock outs hits from Tyson. I know he's samller so he won't duplicte Tyson's actual power, but his opponents are smaller too. Agressive, Yes. Good punching?...mmm he seems to leave himself open a lot, his aggressiveness saves him from counters. P4P, me beleives Tyson had the power. Me thinks.
To much talk lets see that fight Between Valero and Manny, Valero destroy manny on the first round, if manny is lucky maybe he will last the second. this kid will kick every body asses...
i think Edwin Valero is to slow and doesn't even know the basic of boxing if you study his moves he can't even last 6 rounds with manny stamina and speed... i'd rather choose joan guzman and Marquez but i'm sure ending will be the same all of them will kiss the canvasssss....zzzzz...zzz....z btw you guy's notice manny last fight with barrera i think he's a li'l bit slugish don't you think it's really time for him to move up at 135lbs...
BTW Valero's style right now is basically the same as Manny's when he was in his late teens and early 20's, Pac is still as agressive as he was back then the only difference is that his movements and fighting style is much much more refined now than what it was in the early part of his career. :)
HA HA HA !! this is the first time i watch edwin valero's fight,, IS THIS VALERO GUY AN AMATEUR? HA HA HA.. IM SURE PACMAN WILL PUT HIM IN A STRETCHER IF HE FIGHTS LIKE THAT.. HE HAS NO BRAIN & STYLE.. PUNC, PUNCH, PUNCH & PUNCH.. AND HE GETS HIT TOO, WELL I THINK THAT JAPANESE & VALERO COULD GO TOGETHER & FIGHT MANNY IN THE RING, TWO AGAINST ONE.. HA HA HA,, IM SURE THEY WILL GET KNOCKED OUT SIMULTANEOUSLY...
First of all...hes 22-0 because he's fighting no bodies...the article on yahoo even says it...looking at this fight it was dang sure true because a REAL fighter would've countered this dork and put him on his ass...as far as seeing him in the US, it's highly doubtful...the wreck caused a skull fracture and he shouldn't be boxing at all...he'd probably die in the ring if he came to the US to fight...because that school-yard style of his would get him some serious blows to the head.
Valero has the power. But he is slow. If he wants to beat the Pacman he needs more speed in his legs. if he stay that way in front of his opponent pacquiao will hit him with too many shots. and he needs to improve his defense. the way he approaches his opponent is something similar to manny's style, though. My money would still be on the pacman. Peace!
Who calls this boxing? I just saw two guys running around as if it was a street fight! Valero open explosive but as you can see no energy for the next round whatsoever! And if you fight guys who don't know how to fight either then I guess the one who punches harder will win! this guy has no defense! he will get knocked out when he fights any fighter on HBO!
valero just knocked out his latest victim in the first round again... so just chill out young buck .. dont put your foot in your mouth.. lets just let them fight and see what happends.. dont be surprised if pacman gets knocked out.. Valero hits 3 times harder.. but manny got more skills and speed
hahaha what a poor boy this japanese guy was..he tried but he couldn't run to escape..but this bolero will gonna taste the punch of a real fighter ~the pacman..i bet pacman could beat him within round 1 by knockout 3times same as juan manuel marquez
Agree about the no defense....He needs good trainers that will teach him good defense and how to take avantage of his skills...He cant fight in the US otherwise they'll be talking about him more....
If this guy (Valero) can beat Joan Guzman with that kind of defense-less fighting, he may have the chance to fight Pacman. And I'll still give the victory to Pacman. Good luck Manny on March 15.
i don`t remember it taking tyson sooo many punches to get someone down...this guy could be a good fighter but to compare him to guys like tyson is just wacked !!!
while you may be right that he is indeed fighting nobodies, so did Mike Tyson for the first few years of his life, the first big fight against Buster Douglas, and not even that big of a name back then, he loses. So dont give us your crap that he is fighting nobodies, because even if he is fighting nobodies, 22 knockouts, 19 by the first round is damn impressive.
I think Valero has harder "arm punches" than Pacquiao. If Valero uses his "body weight" like Pacquiao and punch directly through his opponent, he'll definately punch really hard. But as of now, Pacquiao has the hardest punch compared to any weight division. And tremendous speed. Pacquiao is the better fighter.
how could this win over pacquiao? it is always said that "the best offense is a best defense" this guy drops down his other hand everytime he punches, if he punch manny, he'll kiss the canvas before his gloves even touches manny's hair.
As far as fighting in the US, with the proper trainers, he could be taught to dance around and cover up more, in my opinion he would become a hella of a good fighter had he the opportunity to.
