Yes it is. About 37 years ago me and some work buddies milled one out of billed aluminium for an street rod friend. He polished it.. It came out gorgeous.

Jaguars redesigns in the 80s and 90's was the most futuristic designs on the road. Even the Crown vic was inspired by the squat'ie grill the opposite of the tall Rolls Royce Lincoln grill. And don't forget the mind-blowing XJ220! All American cars copied the Jaguars aerodynamic shapes eventually, but it came naturally to Jaguars.

Sitting low looking over the steering wheel of the Jag reminded me of when I started driving the grain trucks to the fields back when I was 8. ('49 Dodge and '52 ford) 1962 was a long time ago and a long reach to the clutch. It was all you could do turn those big steering wheels. That Jag will be really dope !

19:05 my gandpa had one of these and of course it as dead(for who knows what reason) longer than it ran and sat in a garage for about 10 years, and when i sat in it as a kid and closed the door it was like being in a soundproof room

This hurts to watch. My parents had a 1976 XJ 6 when I was a little kid. Lots of memories in that car. The dual gas tanks were for weight balance and cornering. My father always switched from the left to right or vise versa to keep the handling perfect, LOL. The Lucas electric fuel pumps were garbage and located in the tanks. They probably could not source the part (or it was too spendy) so they just removed the whole thing to diagnose and decided they didn't want to pay that $$$ to fix and left it!

It 1st. Started as nice Well-Rounded You-Tuber sharing tips & tricks with money saving ideas for the Jeep Off-Roading Community. NOW, look at Matt!.. THE DESTROYER of small Animals! Smoky did not acid dip his car. But GM did infact dip a few cars. And built a hell of a cage to hold it together in there Camoros

For 1985 Jaguar money, you could have upgraded to any of these: Grand National, or Hurst Olds, or Monte Carlo SS, or IROC-Z, or Mustang GT, or Trans Am. All better investments than a Jag that put the gas tanks in suicidal locations.

I'm not sure "upgrade" is the right word. Those may have offered better performance but they weren't in any way targeted at the same market. Of the cars you listed only the GN is really of any interest today. The Monty or Olds were nothing special in the 80s. The Iroc/TA and Mustang weren't exactly at their peak either and aren't particularly desirable now. This particular Jag is a POS of course, which is why they bought it, but it was a pretty high spec luxury saloon in it's day and still a great looking car by any standards.

It seems like you're doing a lot of unnecessary steps. Why pull the interior and glass out of the jag? Why pull the engine off of the dodge frame?

All this is shown and or explained in the videos but the interior comes out because we will need to cut and weld stuff in there. The rear glass comes out because we are making it a truck. And the engine comes out because we needed to move it backwards 16 inches and at one point we needed it out of the way of the body but to set the body on the frame.
