This is fucken sick bro I'm planning to do the same next year but my tundra is a 4wd so I'm gonna regear all my diff and put some 35in tires. Man it's good to see someone into the 1 gen tundra keep it up man.
Man I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra and I want to do the same thing to mine. I love the work. You need to post more on the Tundra. Can’t wait for more videos.
Great video, man!! I have an old 2002 Tundra with Fox coilovers. I’m about to install some Camburg UCAs like the ones you took off. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Be safe...
I wish I could afford a list the old stuff that he is removing. My 2000 Toyota Tundra 4.7 front end needs everything. Makes so much noise on the bumps. Awesome looking truck
my tundy had the same issues, needed new LCA Bushings, New Lower Ball joints, New Steering Rack, New Outer Tie Rod Ends, and i got the Camburg Mid travel UCA Kit with Uniball. Fixed my issues.
I have a 2000 tundra. I’ve beed in two wrecks because of OEM ball joints... they suck. After upgrading them I’ve had no issues after at least three years
Have you done a rear disc conversion on your Tundra? Also, I installed Bilstein 5100’s and now my AVS goes off around curves. Any help would be appreciated.
Has camburg come out with a kinetic UCA for the 1st gen tundra yet? I'm running an '03 tundra with a 4" drop bracket lift. (It was installed by previous owner). I'm having a hell of a time getting it aligned properly. @Mike French.
I personally have never owned any Toyo Tec stuff, but I did have a customer who "liked" them on his 4-runner. I have always ran name brand/race proven shocks and coilovers such as Fox, Bilstein, King and SwayAway. I have had great success with all of those brands over the years 👌
I just ordered Camburg UCAs for my 2002 tundra 2wd sr5. I have Bilstein 5100s up all the way and 285/70/17s, all stock besides that. Wheels have a -12 offset. I got the UCAs because of all I've read about the ball joints with the leveling kit etc. Should I expect any issues anywhere with the Camburgs and rubbing or anything problems at all? I'm new to all this so any help I would appreciate so much.
I have a 2001 tundra and I’ve been looking for those clear turn signal corner lights. Do you have a link or something on where you bought them? Thanks!
i wanted to ask you about O2 sensor issue i have with my 2004 Tundra V8. is there such thing as a heater circuit fuse? i changed all my O2 sensors and still having a p0032 and p0052 codes.
My truck rubbed on the frame as well when I had the Camburg mid travel kit and 35's. I installed some wheel spacers that solved the issue. I have a video on my channel about the whole process 👌
is their anything to do to get the back wider...? wanting to do this to my truck i have a 06 im thinking of building it or selling it and getting something newer 205k miles 2wd newer motor tho because wife blew the radiator then motor so i bought a new one at its only at like 100k now oh and aluminum radiator
What kind of noise would a cracked LCA mount/ bracket make? I've been trying to diagnose a metal on metal creak type of noise for the past year coming from driver side front end. Sounds like springs initially but I put my hand around the suspension components as a friend drove slowly and the vibration from the noise cant be felt anywhere on the shocks or springs (5100s all the way up and OEM springs). I feel it on the frame. Could this be the LCA mount?? Thanks for any advice
i had an issue once (from small river crossings) where my leaf springs would slide a bit against eachother and make a creaking noise that resonated a lot. applied lube to the springs and it went away, but eventually put little plastic shims in between a couple of them and that stopped it. now my brakes squeaking when i back up and i gotta diagnose that now...
How much is all this? Straight axle guy, but I’d like to do this to the same gen sequoia. Assuming these can be somewhat interchangeable between the two. Any advice would help immensely 🙏🙏🙏
I got the OEM Koyo bearings, but the hubs were a generic brand from Ebay. Getting those hubs was a mistake because they did not have the same tolerances of the oem hubs. After about 2k miles of driving I started to have some play in the hubs. I ended up purchasing another set of Koyo bearings and using the original oem hubs...
Mike French its always the ebay parts 🤦🏻♂️ lol cool thanks for the response. I got my Camburg kit too and im replacing everything up front except for the steering rack. Just deciding if I should go oem or not for the bearings, but I think I probably will. How much did you get yours for?
