Sweet shave Ken, good to see the Wilkinson Sword in your hands. I haven't seen the gift pack version, not a huge fan of their soap but their blades are good all rounders. We are getting a bit spoilt here in the UK found some Clubman Pinaud supplies in a chain shop. Hopefully we will get more, there's not a huge amount available in the UK big stores and even less here in Northern Ireland. Have a great time at your mom's birthday. See you soon.

A very happy belated birthday to your mom, Ken. Wishing her the best of health. I agree that it's amazing Wilkinson is producing a razor again. Hopefully, Gillette is being made aware of how much this wet shaving community is growing and will realize a gillette safety razor would sell out almost immediately. I really hope they do have a marketing rep that flags videos of interest because we'd all love an opportunity to purchase a new gillette razor. Ps. I did order the R41 that you were kind enough to give me advice on. I also went with rose gold handle and will receive it on Christmas. Thanks again, Ken. As always, stellar video!

If i saw it right, the set was made in Germany. Here in Germany you can not buy it in stores yet. i had to buy it online as a "reimport" for a christmas present. I bought the razor for myself two weeks ago online. It felt very good holdingit in my hands.

Nice haul! For me, the regular Wilkinson Sword blades are pretty much the same as the Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades, the only difference being that they are more expensive. I'm with you though, the GWS blades are really good!

Another great shave! I am not really interested in the Wilkinson Sword razor mainly because of the long handle, but it's very nice to see a big corporation like this make a comeback to double edge razors! The handle on the brush is simply exquisite!! I love it 😍

Hi ken , recently stumbled upon your channel and I'm really enjoying all of your content . I'm new to de shaving, I bought one of the gift sets of the wilkinson sword razors. I get a great shave on my face but I seem to cut myself a lot on my throat , not sure where I'm going wrong. She Shaves with Jill Got three for UK£15 ($19.23 US) each from my local UK Tesco supermarket just recently, very good value. Some razors cost more but they may not be as great as value per price. These razors match up well to the competition at the price, TTO razors, that is. Had two shaves so far, and they were very good close shaves too, well pleased with the performance. Good mild shaver fo a newbie, excellent daily driver for those who need to shave every day, recommended. It was a great sight on the supermarket shelf, the first time I have seen a DE razor in a UK supermarket since the 70s. A sign the big conglomerates are taking notice of new market trends in wet shaving. Another thing, Proctor & Gamble, who own Gillette, have bought back Gillette's old razor blade factories in eastern Europe, most notably the St. Petersburg plants and the Polish plants, another sign of market shift, so hopefully we should expect a new model fat boy on the design board soon! The downside is you must stock up on razor blades, as now that the big boys are getting back in the DE business, it's only a matter of time before the cost of quality blades goes through the roof. You have been warned.

The blades that come in the package are very blunt. Was so painful I got a sick feeling in my stomach. I like the razor itself. I've ordered some new blades. I'll see if it takes the pain away.

Surprised at the long handle.My (bi) daily shaver is a Merkur Classic 1904. It has a short handle. But even that one I grab halfway. This one I would probable grap at 1/3 from the head.

Hi Ken thanks for all your videos. I've started my DE shaving with the Rockwell 6C razor. I've used to blades, the Rockwell and the Voskhod. I like the Rockwell blade better and felt the Voskhod is too dull for my hair type. What blades have you found the most luck when it comes to the Rockwell? I may have to get a second DE razor as well. It looks like you really love the Merkur razors? Any helps would be appreciated.

I was wondering if you could review this razor and compare it to some of the higher end razors that you use. Does this phone give you ability to control different settings in the selfie mode? I find the majority of video settings are only available with the rear facing camera and the selfie (front) camera is limited, especially with the auto focus feature.

It's a rebranded Weishi 9306-P, The VDH is a rebranded 9306-F/C. So it has the same head.

As a face lather maker do you have any thoughts on PAA’s new “face lather scuttle”?? I’m not a face lather unless it’s with arko or some other soap stick I’m using but I’m honestly thinking of picking one up just to have. You can buy the razors in Tesco it is a supermarket in the UK you should not have any problems finding the razor because most Tesco are selling the razors.

Hey Ken. Thanks alot buddy. The whole set cost £24.99 from Amazon UK. ($32). eBay UK also had it. I was surprised too that I was the only one to post about it. The whole set was a bargain considering the razor alone is £20 on Amazon UK and eBay. The brush is basic boar and the soap is airy but for the price I'd promote it anyday.
