@N-Scale I agree! But the tires are severely dry-rotted and will need to be replaced anyway. I've been swapping out deteriorated parts for the last few days. Video coming soon!

@@mohawkgarage I'm in Balto. Md. and hotter here than there. I used to come to FL. every Feb. for the Daytona 500. until they priced us out of the place. Rained almost every afternoon for 5 mins. and then a nice day.
Don't change a thing. Maybe wheels. Other than that, and RAISE the stance, don't lower it, it's not an Impala. No airbags !!!!! Beautiful wagon that needs love. Take care of it. It's wonderful history.
@@RickyMeninger The only changes I'll be making will be restoration-type things. It'll get tires, brakes, shocks, etc. It will not be lowered or lifted. I want it to be a great driver with as much stock equipment as possible. Thanks for watching and commenting!
take a brillo pad to the white walls along with some westly's bleech white ...and use a brillo pad on the chrome it will clean up alot of the rust on the bumber's ..not all but a good bit

Not sure about the wagons, but a lot of the Ford cars back then had factory drain plugs built into the gas tanks, maybe your wagon might have one, makes it a lot easier to get that old varnished gas out of it.

I can’t wait to see this beautiful family hauler when it’s cleaned and detailed! I like to think of all the good memories some family had in this wagon. I can’t remember - does this have one of the third seat options? There were two - rear facing, and dual facing rear seats. Great video!

67 was also the first year for the optional Oxford Grain vinyl roof cover on station wagon. Back when you could order your car exactly the way you wanted.@@mohawkgarage
I learned to drive on a 1966 Colony Park wagon, dark green metalic. It had the same hub caps as yours. We also had the 390 engine 2bbl in it and it was a beast. Probably drove it 12 years from new. Never gave us problems. I used to clean the white walls with brillow pads works great. Used it on the wagon and 64 1/2 mustang tires too... will be watching your progress...

man would i love to buff and polish that car ...love the green tinted glass too..the 65 montclair we had was the same way ...i think cars with factory a/c had the green tinted glass
I actually have one of the chrome tailight surronds for this car. I can't remember if it is the right or left but it is in great shape and I don't think it has ever been on a car. If you're interested in it let me know and maybe we can make a deal.
