@@MsCDante I think he made that assumption because the state he grew up in, in the U.S, were known for sweet pies... Thats what I THINK anyway. Like the state I’m from (specifically small town) has a lot of meat pies, but not really sweet pies 🤔 I agree he still shouldn’t have assumed
I traveled to Australia and NZ few years back and man do they know their pies. I'd say NZ had pies down to an art, even their gas stations have good pies. Australian meat pies are also delicious no competition they both killing it in the meat pie game lol
Here in the UK one of my favourite meals is a good meat pie and buttery mash with thick parsley sauce and vinegar drizzled over everything. Might sound weird but tastes amazing!
New Zealand has THE best “meat” pies in the world, legit. Go to a local bakery and for 20bucks, you can get you like 4 pies, or 2 pies, 1 roll and a drink.
@@achilles8397 Legit my guy, do yourself a favor and come to New Zealand if you ever get the chance. Not only are our pies , incredibly cheap, they're made from high quality NZ beef. Guarantee you'll pack on the weight because they're that good and that cheap. It really isn't good for the body lol, but your soul will be thanking you.
Ben my mother is a first class cook... anything this woman cooks she’s slays it’s. People drive hours from out of town just to eat her food. Her chicken pot pie or her roast beef pot pie will make you want to devour the whole thing!!
from Australia here:) where everyone is crazy about meat pies, usually those cost us about $3-$5 each and yes those are definitely pretty liquidy, pretty good looking though
@CN K there are bakeries selling freshly made pies at nearly every 2nd block of shops in NZ. Can't say the same about Aus, trust me mate I lived in both country's for 10+years
