Unfortunately not a clean lap, but my fastest of the day because of fresh tyres at the beginning. Stock Golf 8R Tyres: Bridgestone Potenza Race 235/35/19 Endless MA45b brake pads Speed Engineering brake cooling sportfahrer.at Trackday
@@lucatronconi3558 They perform really well on the 8R, because the car was developed on it. The Potenza Race is quite similar to the Cup2 in behavior. No semi-slick, but a very good UHP-tyre which works very well on quite stock cars. For heavy modified cars, I would not recommend it, because the tyre isn't made for hard track abuse.
@@lucatronconi3558 Don't put too sticky tyres on the 8R, as long as you go with stock suspension. Otherwise the rear axle is too stable and will not move anywhere, which causes the torque splitter not to work correctly and the car will understeer.
@@lucatronconi3558 Oh, another TT-friend!😀 On both the TTS and the TTRS I was very happy with the Pirelli Trofeo. But also the A052 will work very well I guess. But you need a stiff suspension an lots of camber (at least -3°). Distinti saluti!😊
