I have seen no one try to turbo a 2.5 EcoTec yet, so it is super awesome that you are documenting this process, most people would say just buy another car lol.
I'm running direct from turbo to intake without an intercooler and boy does it generate some heat! I'm on the fence to add an intercooler or simply go back to non-turbo. I like how you are problem solving the whole install. It will pay off in the end!
The formula for cheaper power is cooler more dense air. So I’m going to try and figure out an intercooler setup somehow. Preferably with the least amount of custom fabrication possible so it will make it possible for anyone to copy my setup.
