I own a distillery. (O’Dwyer Distillery) and let me tell you, the image of the owner binge drinking its product is a complete turn off. It hurts the brand. People want to see the owner in control, sober minded and stoic. All things that Bert is not.

It all went downhill due to Toms rant about the poors. It kinda shined a light on them. Berts fake ass laugh and Tom being above us peasents. I unsubbed months ago.

The reason Bert was eyeing him while he was drinking is because, people who are addicts or have a problem with alcohol or substance. They like it when the people around them partake in their vice, and will even pressure people around them to indulge heavily. When everyone around you is drinking it’s a party. When everyone is sober, insecurity kicks in cause you have a problem. I hope he gets help.

Tom and Bert are middling talents who struggled for years and made it, sorry, "BLEW UP!!!!!!!" thanks to Rogan, algorithmic shenanigans, self-promotion on steroids, etc, but now that has plateaued or even submerged into a mire and all that is left is middling talent, not all-time great comedians with dynamite Pryor/Carlin level comedy and the only ones who have that these days is, CK, Burr, Stanhope, Normand and Attell, maybe some more, but off the top of my head, those are the living GOATs. Joe List is good. There's the almost-greats. But Segura and Burp Krash-car? Nope. They stink up the comedy world. I have to say it: podcasting makes a comedian lose their edge. When it's the self-promoting kind of podcast schtick. Attell doesn't have a podcast, CK doesn't really have one, Stanhope's isn't really a produced thing, it isn't obnoxious, Bill Burr's is audio-only and he stays on point, even when rambling. Mark Normand just guests on shows and busts balls, riffs in a funny as fuck way. Then there's Rogan... Zzzzzzzzzz. Yawn, yawn, saunas are awesome, yawn.

I like this channel but it’s wild how much you talk about Bert and Tom. 😂 I get it that your channel is about podcast comedy commentary but there has to be better stuff to discuss. If I didn’t know any better I’d almost think you dedicate like 80% of your time to just these two guys. They certainly do suck but I wouldn’t analyze something that sucks every day and kind of make it my own brand to do so. I don’t want to hear about Tom and Bert, that’s why I don’t watch. The whole Roganverse of comedy has gone to shit in the last 5 or so years. Used to listen to content from throughout that crowd religiously, but now I’m baffled as to what I even saw in them in the first place.

I’m surprised it took this long. The first year of Your Moms House was talking about what they did during the weekend, watching clips from the internet then bringing in a guest to have them join in on watching videos from the internet with them. Maybe it changed after the first 100 episodes but it was total shit.
