@@cardiogirl798 to permanently move to the US my legal approach was the K-1 Fiance Visa. You'll have to read-up on the multi faceted process, if interested., Culminating with a trip & papers/documents/medical etc to US consulate officees in Montreal for a two step in-person interview. It's quite a journey. My handle was from the name of a restraunt (now closed) in Waterloo. It was frequented by students from UW & Wilfred Laurier

We did this trip also! I'd recommend getting spiny lobster fresh, key lime pie and fresh coconut cut and straw right from a stand! We got ours on the side of the road on the way down. We liked bahia Honda snorkeling, bars and chickens! In key west! Sunsets and mojitos!

I saw my street when you were in Marathon! I take my toddler to Sombrero Beach everyday after work so she can play until the sun sets. If you come back down this way, check out some of the local (secret) spots like the Jumping Bridge on Sugarloaf Key.

Wow, having been born in Florida it looks nothing like I remember. I went to Key West in the early 60’s with my parents and probably crossed that old two lane bridge. We almost moved there but my mother did not want to be stranded with only one way out. Shame, the place we were looking to buy would be worth millions today.
