I grew up having breakfast burritos on the weekends or on camping trips. My mom would use Rotel in the sausage and egg mixture. Sprinkle with some colby jack or pepper jack cheese. Yum!

I made the breakfast burritos. They are delicious!! I make freezer meals for my father in law who is 93. He will love these.

Walmart has heat and serve frozen sausage patties. They’re the perfect size for English muffins and some bagels. They are the great value brand. 😁

Both recipes are great. I like to have these types of things in the freezer so that when we get home from work, 8:30pm, I can just pop them in the microwave. They're great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.😄

I am going to try a easy way cooking poached eggs and a slice of cheese place on a buttered muffin. put turkey bacon on it use a salt substitute and pepper

Great recipes! I think I can eat the burrito since the egg and cheese can be moderated.

And I always reuses bread bags and muffin bags for freezer use too, if you don’t have Ziplocs handy or you like to repurpose stuff.

High Catherine, you could just use potatoe O'Brien for the burritos. I use these to make chorizo burritos all the time. They have the onion and peppers already in them.😊

Such great ideas for breakfast on the go Catherine!😍 I've always loved the English muffins with Canadian bacon, egg and cheese! 😘 They're so easy to grab and go on your way out the door! 😋 Do you remember or did you ever use waxed paper sandwich bags? Perfect size for sandwiches but can hold so many other things! 😚 Whenever I wrap something in foil for freezing, I like to wrap it in a paper towel or the waxed paper bag first. It helps keep moisture away from the food and also allows you to put it directly into the microwave (after removing the foil). I spent years making freezer meals to take to work. I even made breakfast to take since I always started at 7:00 am. I finally found some smaller containers for my breakfast. Bacon was usually my choice of meat and it worked well for my breakfasts!😊 I used to make a breakfast casserole with potatoes, bacon, eggs and cheese. I would cut it into sections to fit the small containers. Then I'd put the containers in the freezer and take them out one by one. I've tried so many breakfast items to take to work. Even biscuits wrapped around a sausage link for a nice hand held breakfast. But I soon discovered that bread makes me very sleepy.🥱 So I had to change my selection of items when making breakfast. They really wanted me awake at work!😉 I could get away with flour tortillas, they didn't put me in a sleep coma!☺️ It's great to see these make ahead meals! With people running around all day, it's great to have something already prepared! You always give us such great ideas that make our lives so much easier!🤩 Thanks for sharing more great recipes!🥰
