This video features an Aristo-Craft BNSF Heritage 1 Dash 9-44CW 1/29 G Scale model train engine (purchased in 2008) and a Bachmann BNSF Heritage III Dash 9-44CW engine (purchased in 2023). Aristo-Craft went out of business on Dec. 31, 2013. Bachmann bought the tooling for this engine, and the new engine is almost exactly the same as the older Aristo model, albeit at about twice the price! The upgrades include a new DCC socket and it comes with a socket adapter board. I have installed Tsunami2 TSU-4400 DCC decoders in both engines. I'm able to install these with NO soldering and no other parts needed except some jumper wires to screw terminals on the DCC board and place on the pins on the DCC socket or adapter board in the Bachmann. Both engines came with factory speakers. I can explain that further if someone needs that info.
