ive turned a few bits for round bar to fit inside them sockets to knock the rings out with the punch . all the best simon tyne and wear locking wheel nut removal
I noticed that the shroud was very loose once inside the wheel nut housing whilst you were trying to steady it and hammer at the same time. If you had wrapped electrical tape around it to widen its girth it would be far more stable and easier to hammer…..
I find the dynomec supplied impact driver to be pretty poor. Only seems to work on nuts that aren't very tight. Usually end up using a breaker bar to get most nuts opened.
