Things I like and don’t like about my Mojave HTTPS://www.bulletproofmountingsoluti... Tires: procomp xtreme 4wheelparts.com Decals by sity stickers (Facebook and Instagram)
Although I was seriously looking at the Mojave Gladiator myself, I went with a Rubicon instead, as it is more "appropriate" here in the "hills" of Colorado. Were I still living in West Texas (El Paso), however, I'd probably have gone Mojave. But like yours, mine is also "Hydro Blue Pearlcoat" color -- my preferred color was Gobi Clearcoat, but like the other 2 colors I liked -- Punk'n and Gator Clearcoat -- they were NOWHERE to be found here in CO. And only on ONE Jeep dealer's lot (which had about 41 Gladiators at that time, 12-13 of them were Rubicons), there were only TWO Rubicons configured (mostly!) as I wanted -- one blue, the other black. I chose blue. Mine also came with the plastic bumper, but no big deal: There must be 101 (!) different style bumpers out there for Gladiators (like there are for Wranglers) -- from Mopar and aftermarket sources -- should I ever want to change it out. ;-) Happy Trails, -- BR
Well congratulations! You Will love it! And you picked the perfect color! Well even though you’re not a Mojave owner you are still in my Gladiator Gang! Keep me posted
@@mojavemadness5334 Unlike most people with their Gladiators (and Wranglers!), will be keeping my Gladiator MOSTLY stock - -no lift kit, no bigger tires, etc. It's as capable as I want it to be right out of the box. ;-) Am awaiting a hard tonneau/bed-cover though (a BAKFlip MX4), should arrive soon -- but having my local "4 Wheel Parts" store install it (free), partly because if "professionally installed" I'm supposed to get a longer warranty. -- BR
@@billredding2000 I hear you! Nothing wrong with stock! They all look good no matter what! Watch my video on tonneau cover install ! It was a hot mess! 🤣 what should have taken 30 minutes took 3 hours! Lessoned learned. Oh well. I’m about to post my winch install video. I had that professionally done.
I agree with the power seats. I wish they came with locks on the hood latches. I don’t like how the public has access to your engine. I know you can get them aftermarket. But for safety reasons that should be standard.
@@rbromfield2112 no rubbing issues at all. It’s possible If you go with 37’s and also you may have to re-gear and that’s pretty expensive. That’s why I stuck with 35’s. I highly recommend the Mojave. It can do everything the Rubicon can plus race on the sand. It’s also more comfortable and drives better!
Hello. I noticed that you have 35” tires. Looks great. However, my question is, do you have to regear or reclaibrate the speedo to compansate for larger diameter tire? Its only 2” from stock so im not sure if you need to or not for 35”. I know for 37 you do but not sure of 35”s. Thx. Great truck!
Hey Peter. No regear needed for 35’s but a speed calibration is needed. See my superchip video for install and info. ( this calibrates speed and helps with mpg)Thanks so much for your support !

Tires are Pro Comp xtreme M/T2 (315/70R17) and the wheels are Pro Comp 69 series vintage wheel 17x9 with 5 on 5 bolt pattern flat black
Mojave is amazing! drives and ride likes a champ. Just over 9k miles with no issues. Best money I’ve ever spent but nothing is 100% perfect. I did a bunch of research and watched a ton of videos. I’m still in love with this Jeep! I highly recommend but ultimately the decision is yours! Keep me posted
@@Haro75410 most of the people that regret buying a Jeep forget that it’s a Jeep. It’s not a luxury vehicle. There’s lots of wind noise, it doesn’t get good fuel economy, but what it does have is fun, lots of fun! What other truck can you take the doors and top off of in 20 minutes and go climb a mountain? 🙃
@@AlanTrades I’m not sure if I’m going to do anymore at the moment. My focus is getting moved and eventually getting the Jeep down to Costa Rica. I’m happy with the way it looks now. As far as stabilizer goes…I don’t have one and I personally don’t know anyone that uses one. Mine still drives and rides just as great as when I first bought it, even with all the current mods I have right now. I guess it comes down to personal preference. They aren’t that expensive and if it makes driving quality even better, I say go for it. Let me know if you decide to install one and how you like it! Thanks for the question and support. I really appreciate it.
