In 2004, Oklahoma had the best offense in college football, but sadly for them the Mike Stoops era was over. 2004 was the first year that Bob Stoops's teams didn't have a physical defense that it had with Mike Stoops. That Venables guy is good, but it seems like OU's defense is more finesse now then physical.

This was an amazing season 12-1 and big 12 Champs. Besides the beating by that "cheating" usc team it was an amazing season. Great bedlam battle.
