I’d love to see what a high torque impact would do with a wood screw. Probably tear it to shreds lol. Or even a hole saw. Like what would a carpenter do with a Rigid high torque?

Drill- Packedge in typical box, came with a tool bag (added bonus), two batteries, one charger, drill, and driver. Two words "plenty of Torque" ru-vid.comUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv well I guess that's three. Nice upgrade from current setup. Has belt clips, I don't think I will be using those. Driver and drill were bigger than what I expected but it is an upgrade from the current setup. For the money I would say that this is a great setup for Professionals and DIY/Weekend warriors.

I own some ridgid power tools i have a 18volt drill and an 2 tool combo kit (drill and impact) and they work great. I have some of every brand (milwaukee, dewalt, Bosch, master force, plus this brand) and I love them all. I got them cause I love tools period (power and hand tools).

Purchased this set today and after watching this video I feel a lot better about my purchase. Needed something to replace my old 20 volt Dewalt drill because it is not brushless and the brushes are about wore out and when I use it for long periods of time it smokes. I've always been a DeWalt guy but Lissette will do fine for what I need it for, just wish the drill also had a hammer drill function

Just picked up this combo at Home Depot, on sale July 4th weekend 2023 for $50 off. So $149 is the price. I LOVE this combo. I've been needing a new an improved drill for a while now. Had to resort to my corded drill but I miss having a cordless. I've already used this a few times and it's awesome! I love this combo and looking forward to seeing what Ridgid brings out in the future.

As a previous owner of the 1st gen subcompact tools IMHO the impact driver is a nice step forward thanks to the 3 speed + Auto setting. Hopefully the new one has better heat dissipation as the previous one got warm pretty fast. I'm not that thrilled by the drill/driver, the extra torque is welcome, though.

I said it before but I'll reiterate subcompact, a great place for the smaller 12 volt tasks but on a battery platform you already have. So these are good for lighter Johny Home owner tasks. Leaving the full sized 18v tools in the work bag.

I wonder if someone can do a comparison test between Ridgid Gen-2 Subcompact impact driver's self-tapping mode vs M12 Gen-3 impact driver's self-tapping mode. M12 Gen-3 impact driver's self-tapping goes full-speed, but Ridgid Gen-2 Subcompact impact driver's self-tapping mode restricts itself to Speed-2 in self-tapping mode. Which one works better?

It looks like a Mini Brushless kit which is the top of the line at this moment. A bit more torque on both models but most importantly speed settings on the impact driver. I used to have the 1st gen (which I got on sale for $109 at ) and I liked it but I didn't have more Ridgid tools so I got rid of it last month.
