During this year last event of Cars & Coffee Italy I recorded two very loud Dodge Viper GTS. The grey one is fitted with a Magnaflow side exhaust instead the black and red one has probabily a straight pipe exhaust system since it has a lot of race-spec mods and my ears were bleeding after the rev battle. Which one do you like the most?

Those 2nd generation Vipers are just BADASS!!!!! I trade-in my 2010 for a 2002 Viper GTS Bumble Bee(last year). Unbelievable loud and fast. Very rare and exotic looking. Offers it all for a low price. Values bound to go up in the future. Get one now!!!!!!!!!

+Viper ACR Those are not second gen vipers they're first gens, (phase II). Second gen is the 2003-2010. But yeah, I was going to get a E90 M3 but now looking into getting a 98 - 02 GTS while I still can.

+Ghos7N54 Those are 2nd GEN Vipers. I own 2 of them. Do some research buddy. And 2003 begins third-generation FYI.

***** Ok, did research.., First generation Phase I/II SR (1992-2002) Second generation ZB I/ZB II/VX I (2003-2007) Phase II ZB (2008-2010) VX (2013-present) So these are first gen like I stated originally. There's plenty of people who own cars that don't know shit about them and I wasn't looking for an argument, was actually coinciding with your point about getting one dirt cheap now before the values skyrocket. Ghos7N54 Way to quote Wikipedia. The phase I-II etc. in nonesense. If you actual READ the Wikipedia article it states "the 1996 model year is the beginning of the second generation". And "...2002 would be the final year of the second generation Viper". Everyone in the Viper community knows that as do all the web sites for Viper parts. At least you have the common sense to buy a Viper. AND its the 2nd gen version like in this video that will go UP and UP.

Carroll Shelby was an influence to produce the Dodge Viper. Carroll said he liked the Viper. Was a very unique machine to him.

BUCKET LIST! OMG awesome. Love Vipers. It's something else driving down the road next to one, let alone being in one. I actually got to do a passenger lap of the Nordschleife in the Zakspeed Viper so that will always be special :)

V10s are the best sounding engines to my ear. It amazes me how lackluster the viper can sound with 10 cylinders. Compared to a LFA, Hurican, Gallardo, R8 5.2, M5 E60, and the best of all.... the Carrera GT, it sounds like shit.

I completely agree with you about the sound of the Lamborghini and other high compression v10's. One of my favorites is the BMW M5 with the right exhaust it sounds amazing! On the other hand, remember these are big displacement lower compression, big cam v10's. They are also a proven racing platform Vs any Italian super cars.
