Anaconda island is the way to go for me! bamboo, water, packaged food, a fishing pole...whats not to love? except when you're looking down at your mud mixer trying to pour water into it and OUT OF NOWHERE a caiman bites your face off!
New to the game here, just jumped on with my bros and went straight to survival in multiplayer but I’m wondering if the soa locations are accessible in survival mode?
For anyone who really liked the look of the first 2 locations for devices with SoA, but find no place to build. There is a pretty big open area nearby at 40W 35S.
If you go right behind the spot at 49 35 there's a camp already set up and it's on top of a rock a d there's like 2 or 3 logs going on yo the rock that are the only way in and out of it and it's amazing because you can set up there and at 49 35 I go to 49 35 n get food and water then go back up to the camp...when you build stuff 3 stories high you're almost at the tree tops the rock is so high up
There's a great little spot I've found I'll put co ords tomorrow as can't remember got water tons of recourses only issue is a jaguar from time to time and the odd natives but brilliant to build
The 42W 24S was exactly what you said... Good start point. Got some Native visiting me and just stayed in the cave and harvested arrows...😁 They had to stay on place because of the river... As I finished them a Jaguar shows up and was easily killed as well... And I had plenty of bones to skill my bone armor up to 70%... You can build a bed and a fire inside the cave. Just watch out for the Scorpion...
to me 50w 23s was the best spot ive ever visited, water is close, banana tree are close, lots of fish, lots of random animals walking near you, bamboo, crackden is close by, crabs, ect, anthil is really close with enough coverage in case the tribe fellas pay you a visit
Nice!! Always great info packed into your videos! Love the content! Also. This made me remember I have a video suggestion for you. ……I Was trying to find a video giving all the locations to find obsidian stone at in the game. While there are some videos on how to craft with the obsidian stone(so obviously comes with a spawn location in the video) but there’s no videos out there giving a rundown of ALL the locations where obsidian stones can be found. I don’t know if that’s a feasible request but I know I’d love to see that! Lol. Not a mandate, just a request! Lol. I just know of the main couple locations and was looking for more.
Hey good video, I like some of the later bases in the video like the 39W 34S one. Is there anyway you can make a video on how you get there? Don't go outta your way to. I don't know why I can't seem to get there. I've gotten to the main camp, the big circle. Maybe you could just comment back a brief run-through haha. Either way keep up the good work
I built by the waterfalls. On the far side where bamboo was available and built on the water. The second floor u can now walk up to the second waterfall and gather resources there are plenty of fish. Crabs animals bamboo also ropes and other wood trees as well as a ready set up animal snare. I love running around the entire waterfall to gather snails and other resources like mushrooms etc only downside is the poison dart frogs and there are many sting rays in the water also
Your videos have been a real help with this game, could u recommend the best base location for easy of access to the story items like the climbing rope etc, I want to find a place that isnt too far of a trek from each location
At the dock go upriver until you find a smaller river leading to the big one, Now follow that one up to it's origin, It's this smallish waterfall hiding a cave, Anywhere near there is decent for survival and close to most places in the first map. If you want the most central part of all the story maps anaconda island is a good candidate. Hope that helps, Cheers.
Console doesn’t have ladder blueprint, or two story buildings. We are missing a few things. Sorry bud lol. However we are getting 2 new updates this year I believe so yayyyy
Your last spot is where I've been building since I started. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any turtle or armadillos, but it's a very nice spot otherwise. Thanks for the extra ideas!
Most of these locations are bad idea for base because there is no flat surface for bigger buildings or these place are areas of predator hunting or places of native patrols. The best place is only 48W 16S - place next to cave with small water access (enough to make mud), flat areas for plant cultivations, 2 spawn points of turtle and armadrillo, no predators, no patrols and cave for safe cooking at night with heavy flat room (good for chests or meat-dryer). The only disadvantage: this is almost NW corner of map, so travel to other places takes long time (like to Steamboat - 1,5 day - only one way )
Well set up base there the other day. I think why he said it’s the best is due to the fact that it’s teeming with animals and wide variety of different fruits mushrooms etc. in such a small parameter around the island. Then there’s also all the building material. I don’t know how it is for you but I noticed only 1 caiman spawns every few days And it’s a one shot kill if you get it in the head. I don’t like setting my base up on the island because listening to the flies flying around the anaconda the whole time is nerve wrecking. I set up my base at the entrance of the cave system right next to the island
@@boredenigma2760 indeed its good place for camp, but not recomended for beginner, for experience player with this game isnt problem ,they can set up camp anywhere.
