Rennala might not have killed the Crystalians, but she sure did kill the frames. The Crystalians really just did not want to bother with Rykard and just walked away.
That cross-arena thunderbolt spam felt mad out of character for how Placidusax usually likes fighting. Like he was personally offended that a small platoon of blue goons jumping in his general direction was as unfathomably strong as it was and just decided to hide in the clouds like a horror flick villain.
Alright, 20 Crystalian spears = Blue Phalanx. Bosses who beat that phalanx: Rykard (which surprised me). Malenia (let’s be honest it looked like a stalemate since no one was left standing). Hourah Loux basically put the John Cena on them. Placidusax who brought out an epic comeback. Fire Giant with his medal he won in the fat roll olympics. Elden Beast, flawless victory.
I ADORE how: - Plaxidusax basically went to 2nd phase and figured out that hit-and-run, along with abusing his ranged advantage, would be effective…incredible comeback - these bastards inadvertently utilized all kinds of military tactics: entering a sort of staggered formation vs. Fia’s Champions, “sending a scout” to draw Goodrick in before going in for the kill, splitting into two squads vs. the Godskins, the It Takes Two flex vs. the All-Knowing, etc. …I am now curious as to how the Leonine Misbegotten would do, it would be such a sharp contrast to how the Crystalian fights
This video is a GREAT showcase on how much having the correct damage type helps against these bastards -- especially the Godfrey vs Hoarah Loux section.
Fire Giant Also Godfrey only survived because of knockbacks, not even the cutscene transition. He has shit resistance to melee damage in his second phase.
That's because Radagon doesn't have a cutscene in middle. Did you see how they destroyed Radahn? Same thing would have happened to Godfrey and Plasidusax.

Watching Placidusax realise he can’t beat them 1v1, going long range to rain lightning bolts only to sneak behind them to hit them with a claw attack into a death beam was magical
Love these guys Crystalian Guards how they walk and attack in formation, like the Roman legionaries with their shield and pilums. Too bad they didn't understand the dimensions of Fire Giant and how close they supposed to be when starting to attack as they started early while being far away from damaging him. They got ridiculous poke damage it's absurd. Hope to see the Crystalian Ballerina variants vs bosses next as it would be epic to see them glides all over the arena in a formation :D
It seems to me that it's because Radagon's AI always has him get in close, if he'd fought from a distance like the Elden Beast I imagine he would have had more similar results!
Lmfao! The op characters were so easily put down. Mohg, Malekith, Malenia whereas Rykard and Firegiant were able to win. I am definitely glad that Placidussax won. However, Chadfrey winning was very surprising and was amazing. But, Elden Beast played in God Mode without taking a damage.
@@anxnymous_bodies still they killed her phase 1 it was 2nd phase to draw but as per rules in games if you kill boss first before dying yourself you will win it even the game has stated demigod defeated which means Malenia lost so draw won't be counted
I have to figure out how to make them work properly. I once put multiple of them in Malenia's arena to fight her, but they kept trying to leave without fighting her while she attacked them.
a dlc that involves a crystal space ship landing in Liurnia with all these dudes spilling out would be awesome. Everyone bring your Ringer Fingers and Longhorns haha
The spear Crystalians seem far more competent than the other varieties, so you chose wisely for the Crystalians represented here. Fights could sure turn on a dime once they stopped doing their hopping stabs though, that technique seems far above the rest. I'm impressed that these guys beat even super Rennala, and boy did they clown on Gideon. The starting range for the Radahn fight was again not where the player starts though, weird. Also, as an update on the Fortissax thing, if you try to bring the Liurnia cursemark to the Deeproot Depths after the Erdtree starts burning, that will generally allow you to skip right to the Fortissax fight (after Fia's "Champions"), avoiding most of Fia's quest and all of Rogier's quest entirely. This should be helpful for adding Fortissax in with the rest of these bosses, as he is a Remembrance boss too.
Radahn would be out of their agro range if they started where the player starts. Radahn's map, when opened in Map Studio, is cut off at the point where I put them, so that's why I chose that spot.
@@nightscout9979 I don't know. I just know it's split into a grid of equal sized chunks in Map Studio. Except for dungeons, and locations like Stormveil Castle - those are each 1 map.
On one hand, it's not a fair test for Gideon since most of them had their AI bugged. On the other hand, it's even funnier watching him get bullied by the two that properly registered his presence.
@@Lord_Chaos000 no no no. Actually miquella Is totally fine he just has a bit of Mohgs and the formless mother’s blood give em some time and he’ll return to looking like a femboy
@@Fathergasciogne what the? How can you describe that as "totally fine"? Have you seen the THING inside that cocoon? The creator of this game is Miyazaki, it would be a huge surprise if Miquella will return to normal after that. And why is everyone saying that he's a femboy? He is stuck at the age of 10 and at that period there aren't strong distinctive masculine traits yet, but I've never seen him as a femboy
@@Lord_Chaos000 let’s say mohg doesn’t care miquella will become the new god of blood bc of mohg and the formless mother and he did that bc of how the golden order wronged him and his twin morgott so it’s kinda like mohg went if everyone hates me I hate everyone and morgott just thinks he is cursed and hates himself for it
Elden beast is my favorite. The scenery, the music on the second phase is beautiful. And such an enjoyable fight. I find it relaxing. It’s not hard to beat it
This video puts in perspective just how powerful and difficult the bosses that beat the 20 Crystalians are. I am now DREADING the time when I have to fight Rykard, Fire Giant, Hoarah Loux, and of course Elden Beast.
They're not that difficult, Rykard is piss easy when using the special weapon. These bosses only have the advantage that they have special mechanics to fight them.
