NEW! JOHN LENNON MIND GAMES DELUXE BOX SET REVIEW: • JOHN LENNON MIND GAMES...
ALL NEW VIDEOS AT: / @larrygravescanadianst...
MY FINAL CANADIAN STUDMUFFIN VIDEO FOR THIS CHANNEL: • SAYING GOODBYE TO THIS... I've lost monetization on this channel and my appeal was rejected with no reason given for what I've done wrong. If anyone would like to donate I would really appreciate it: paypal.me/canadianstudmuffin I rely on income from RU-vid to help pay my bills as I no longer work due to health issues. I was on disability but that ended in 2023 when I turned 65. Another way to help out is to join my Patreon song and album requests channel at / larrygraves . I can't reapply for monetization until Sept. 15th. but I think I am sadly done with this channel. I will only be only uploading new content on my 2nd channel (which is still monetized) at / @larrygravescanadianst... so please subscribe.
P.S I've received a lot of kind words and donations and I truly thank everyone for their help!

Good video. It was only two years between Dark Side of the Moon (1973) and Wish You Were Here (1975) with a tour in between.

Venus and Mars was a great follow up to Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings Larry and when it first came out I actually preferred it and sometimes still do to Band On The Run,it's songs were perfect for Paul's future live performances as witnessed in his Rock Show video and his Wings over America album, great album Bob

Here are my thought: - Meat Loaf "Bat Out Of Hell" ---> "Dead Ringer" - Boston "Boston" ---> "Don’t Look Back " - Alice Cooper "Billion Dollar Babies" ---> "Muscle Of Love" - BOC "Fire Of Unknown Origin" ---> "The Revölution By Night" - Tom Cochrane "Mad Mad World" (incl. "Life is a highway") ---> "Ragged Ass Road"

In Utero is a great follow up album to Nevermind. In fact, I actually like In Utero a little better than Nevermind.

I'm happy to see you mention Alice Cooper. I was a big fan of those 70's albums and his first true solo album without the band, Welcome to My Nightmare. I had School's Out as a teen and it has a soft spot in my heart. The song Alama Matter was written for a local high school. As far as following a smash with another Smash no one will top Micheal Jackson following up Off the Wall with not just Thriller but Bad too. Incredible run. I know you're not a fan but Billy Joel had a hell of a run with some great albums in the 70's and early 80's.

My favourite out of these albums is Queen's A day at the Races. It's also my second favourite Queen album 👍xxx.

I'm trying to think of ones where they actually succeeded and topped a big album. The Beatles obviously did this a lot. Led Zeppelin certainly did it with Led Zeppelin II". Stevie Wonder did it with "Innervisions", after "Talking Book". Fleetwood Mac did it with "Rumours". CCR with "Green River". The Rolling Stones with "Sticky Fingers", after "Let It Bleed". Genesis with "Invisible Touch". Your examples with The Doors and Pink Floyd are very close. The Moody Blues with "Seventh Sojourn". Yes with "Close To The Edge", after "Fragile". Jethro Tull with "Thick As A Brick", after "Aqualung". Simon & Garfunkel with "Bridge Over Troubled Water". The Who with "Who's Next", after "Tommy". Elton John with "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". And I'm sure there's many others

Van Halen’s first album album was a monster. Perfect imo. So many great tunes. I liked the follow-up album Van Halen II but it didn’t quite match the success as the first. It did have some good tracks but nothing like their debut.

I like Agents of Fortune, but I prefer Spectres. It has "Godzilla" and "R U Ready 2 Rock", but also the underrated "I Love the Night", and my favorite song on the album, "The Golden Age of Leather". Blue Öyster Cult only had two Top 40 hits in the States, but they should have had way more. I was extremely surprised to find out that "Dr. Music" from Mirrors didn't chart at all as a single, considering how much airplay it got on Album Rock radio.
