I've lost monetization on my main channel Canadian Studmuffin which I've had for over 18 years with no reason given for what I've done wrong. I rely on income from RU-vid to help pay my bills as I no longer work due to health issues and losing monetization on my main channel has cut my income from RU-vid by about 70%. I was on disability but that ended in early 2023 when I turned 65. I can't reapply for monetization until Sept. 15th. but I think my main channel is done, so I will only be uploading new videos here. 1. Funny, our Fathers Day (here in Germany) was at 9th of May. 2. Some Solo-albums i like: - Pete Townshend "Empty Glass" (1980) - Roger Daltrey "Under A Raging Moon" (1985) - Buck Dharma "Flat Out" (1982) ---> the only solo album from him, as i saw an interview on YT, there will be a second one coming maybe later this year. - Ace Frehley "Ace Frehley" (1978) - Roger Taylor (Queen) "Fun In Space" (1981) - Keith Richards "Main Offender" (1992) - Punky Meadows (Angel, Guitarist) "Fallen Angel" (2016) - Frank Dimino (Angel, Leadvocalist) "Old Habits Die Hard" (2015) and many more!

Your father was in the Royal Canadian Air Force. I had an uncle who made a career in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in several USAF bases around the USA.

Much to discover! The Cash sounds particularly alluring. His cover of the exquisite Robert Flack, from down the street, in particular. I too am a fan of Song of Seven, and find it, and much of Jon's music medicinal. Miles' "Bitches Brew" is my current fave there, but am listening to On the Corner just now. Sweet!

An enthusiastic thumbs up. I like these type clips; when it is not a review of another review or list. I very recently was listening to 'Sketches of Spain' - first time in a while. And I was so surprised how much it reminds me of Bowie's 'Blackstar'. I wonder if they had Miles in mind. All of Lou Reed's albums, maybe up to 'The Bells' are fantastic.

Nice tribute to your dad. 😊 On our way home from upstate NY we were listening to the Casey Kasem top 40 countdown from June 1971. He played a song by a Canadian band called Ocean. I’m assuming they mostly did folk music but have you ever heard them before? I hadn’t. 💁🏻‍♀️

Happy Father's Day. Papa was in the Air Corps (CBI) , flying the hump, I believe they called it. I wish I could give more, but I hope you can get a lunch or something. Due to poor planning, I am retired with a SS that doesn't even cover half the rent, and my Paypal needs replenishment. Keep the faith. I've been doing RU-vid since Chad Hurley started the thing, and have like 200 subscribers. Granted, it is more of a repository than anything else. Anyway. Go have a sandwich, on me! :)
