Things you didn't include but should have: 2nd phone mount for 2nd phone. Screenshot Touch app for Android. 3.5 gal ziplock bags, roll of paper towels, rubber gloves, gallon of water all for pukers. Waterproof floor mats. Small insulated cooler bag for my drinks/snacks/lunch. 24" breaker bar for changing tires and cracking skulls. Pepper spray. $12 scan tool. Electric tire pump.
I carry a lot of the same stuff, but I think the most important thing I bring w me is a handheld rechargeable Shark vacuum.. It allows me to clean up quick between passengers, it’s strong enough to use on the seats and floor, and works great for dog hair..
Last week, my uber driving app was blocked because a rider claimed I was driving under the influence. I advised Uber who i believe stated so because he told me my car reeked of Marijuana and wanted to know if it was legal in MN. I advised Uber it would be impossible for me to be under the influence since I dont drink or do smoking of any kind nor do I do drugs. I always air out my car between every ride given, but it evidently didn't work that day since it was 90° out there. They did reopen my account approximately 28 hours later. I advised Uber support that Uber can do better than this. It's wrong that a passenger can give false reports and shut down a dedicated and good driver in such a way. I had told that passenger that I didn't smoke period and he even said it might have been the rider before him. The passenger asked if I knew where he could buy some weed... NOT! Perhaps it's time for a very small squirt of fabreeze. I hope it doesn’t collide with my expensive Channel Perfume. 😊
I use clean linen scent Febreeze, don't need lint roller since leather seats, but all of my cleaning products are from WeatherTech. Those leather wipes are gross, use the WeatherTech cleaner for leather seats that has Aloe. The leather wipes left a shiny residue. Waze or Uber map is what I use, Google Maps has been getting into too much trouble lol!
Over quarter million miles in 10 years ?!?!? I did quarter million miles on my civic in 4.5 years you ain’t driving worth shit you definitely ain’t making no 100k or more off Uber but who cares right?!😂😂😂😂😂
I do not believe that quarter either. In 2016 after I retired from auto mechanic, I started doing ride share and I rack 133k in just under 3 years. That's about 44k plus per year and that was as a part time. Now this guy claims he is a full time driver and only 250k in ten years? Come on, that's equal to 25k per year. Not believable. Perhaps doing food delivery and if you are picky you might get away with it. But for taking passengers? NO WAY JOSE Oh by the way also the 100k earning per year on rideshare? Again NO WAY. Based on Uber and Lyft base pay and the cheap passengers who most do not tip. it is completely absurd such statement. Was he making at least $2087. Per week ? I doubt it.
As a former auto technician Kia is the worst car to recommend. do not buy a Kia for ride share, you will regret it. do a Google search and you will see why Kia is a bad option . If you are going to do ride share buy a Toyota Corolla gas powered not the electric.
It's simple you tell them to exit your car. One overly intoxicated female refused so I advised her I would call 911 to assist her, and that's when her husband got her out of my car.
