To anyone who's reading this: You are strong. You are beautiful. You are powerful. Remind yourself that working out is not a punishment for what you ate, but a celebration of what your body can do! I hope you have a fantastic day :))

i haven’t done a workout in 2 years. i’ve been heavily depressed and would go weeks on end without even getting out of bed. the most active i would get was when i would manage to go to my on campus classes. i’ve made the commitment for this year to enjoy my youth and love my body. this workout is the beginning of a new journey i’m taking and i’m so happy you make beginners workouts.

I'm planning to do this everyday for 2 months to see how it goes ! :) Starting weight - 54.5kg Goal weight - 50kg WEEK 1 : Day 1 - ✅ DONEE It was easy for me except for the glute bridges and crunches (hopefully I can improve on that 😭) MY NOTIFS R HORRIBLE DOING ATTEMPT 2 NOW WEEK 1 (ATTEMPT 2) Day 1 - ✅ DONE I am literally burning hot rn and I'm SO HAPPY I finished it 4 today 😭 (probably did a lot of the exercises wrong but i'm trying my best 💀✊) Day 2 - ❌ Day 3 - ❌ Day 4 - ❌ Day 5 - ❌ Day 6 - ❌ Day 7 - ❌ (Got my period ☹️) WEEK 2: Day 1 - (10/11/2023) ❌(???) did her 20 min HIIT workout instead, thought I could do this after, was too tired to 😔😔 Day 2 - (11/11/2023) ✅ DONE i'm so sweaty rn, NOW i'm gonna actually try to be consistent even if I have quizzes every week 😃 Day 3 - (12/11/2023) ❌ Im so sorry y'all, i had rlly bad muscle soreness or wtv 4 some reason and I was STRUGGLING 😭🖐 Day 4 - (13/11/2023) ❌I ARRIVED FROM SCHOOL SO LATE THEN I SLEPT BC I WAS TIRED THEN I HAD TO DO SO MUCHH, DOING THIS A FEW TIMES TMRW TO MAKE UP 4 IT Day 5 - (14/11/2023) ✅ Did it once bc it's literally abt to be 10 PM rn and I'm meant to wake up at 5 💀 Day 6 - (15/11/2023) ❌ english exam 😭 Day 7 - (16/11/2023) ❌ I DEF FAILED THAT ENGLISH EXAM BUT ANYWAYS I didn't do it bc I was tired after school and kept sleeping (it's 11 PM rn) I honestly think I could ACTUALLY be consistent if I fix my sleep schedule, so I'm gonna try getting at least 8 hours of sleep everyday and see if I can be consistent next week Current weight - 54kg Not that big of an improvement but it’s like RLLY good considering I wasn’t consistent nor did I do a diet, ALSOO the 2 bumps my stomach has became less obvious WEEK 3: Day 1 - (17/11/2023) ✅ Doneee Day 2 - (18/11/2023) ✅ WOOOO SECOND DAY IN A ROW 🦾 Day 3 - (19/11/2023) ❌ Guests came and then I had to finish all my school work 😭😭 Day 4 - (20/11/2023) ❌ Tired & unmotivated 😔✊ Day 5 - (21/11/2023) ✅ I DID ITT but I ate like an unnecessary 1000 calories bc of some CHIPS so I’m doing another workout now 😭💀 Day 6 - (22/11/2023) Day 7 - (23/11/2023) BTW!! I begin this work out at the beginning of this week. Um, I didn’t realize how out of shape I was. But I did this 3 days in row, then took a two day break due my soreness. Started back up again today and do not regret a thing. Keep pushing everyone!
@pavelle5432
@pavelle5432 Год назад
(EDIT)⚠️ : If you're a beginner, and really just starting out, I would recommend taking this advice when you're already quite used to working out, and ready to build a more consistent routine. You should take it slow and then gradually build up your resistance. ALSO, I am no professional by any means, just saying these from my experience, so take this with a grain of salt :) I would advice not to take any days break from soreness, because it could mess up your routine, if you constantly take a days break just because you're sore, harsh sorry, but I would recommend to at least reduce your soreness after, or before(future) workouts by searching reliable info on social media on how to. Examples: cold baths to reduce inflammation, foam rolling massage, sore pain relief exercises, etc. Or you could fight through the soreness if you want to and can, just so long as it's not joint pain, and not high intensity workouts So you could at least keep a constant routine, with better resistance and faster results. But don't take my words for it all though, since I'm no professional at these, I would advice to do your own research, with fact checking ofc. Just wanted to share this info with someone else in the same situation

@@pavelle5432 rest days are extremely important for working out. your body needs the time to rebuild itself or else you end up overworking your muscles/yourself. all it takes is one google search to not spread misinformation
@pavelle5432
@pavelle5432 Год назад
@@sqwggy Please reread my comment/reply. I apologize if it may not have been specific enough for you, but I have mentioned in the examples, multiple ways to relax and rest your body if you are sore, and it also includes what not to do so as to not overwork and tire your muscles and body, just as you said. Which is? To not perform high intensity workouts and not to at all, if it is actually joint pain, because it risks leading to an injury. I have offered alternatives to the 'issue' you have with my first comment in this thread, so as to not encounter the already said problems with the solution that you, offered instead. I have also mentioned that I am no professional, thus if you are one, and found that as misinformation, I am terribly sorry. All it takes is to read someone's comment properly, before diving in into a pointless argument. Thank you for your time

I’m starting to eat healthier already, i just need to be more consistent with my workouts and I think this one is great to start! My goal is to do this workout everyday except Saturday, until i reach 80kg first. I will try to update this comment to help me with consistency. Wish me luck 🍀 Day 1✅: really hard for me since I haven’t done a workout for a long time, only did 10 minutes😅 Day 2✅: i was able to get to the end of the workout this time, but the glutes part was hard because of yesterday😂 Im glad i was able to finish it tho Day 3✅ I did the exercise but forgot to leave a comment! The third day was easier to do. I still leave pretty tired, but I now am able to finish all the exercises Day 4✅ Today was a day that I really didn’t want to do this, but i still did it and it was worth it!

As a beginner who did this workout a few days ago, pls don't make the same mistake as me and do some light exercises (especially targeting your thighs and knees) beforehand to kind of prep your body. This workout is great but for some reason my thigh became swollen and for the last three days i couldn't even walk properly. Since you're doing this for the first time, you do not need to follow at the same pace/speed as shown in the video, do it slowly (better be safe than sorry; like me 😭).

Had my baby 2 months ago and I've been so depressed. I never liked my body, so seeing my body after I had my baby has made me absolutely hate myself. I started medication a month ago for my depression and I started looking for beginner workouts and this one I can do everything and keep up with!! Can't wait to do the mommy pouch exercise once I have this one down. To anyone who's doing this workout... You can do this❤

It's my third day but I want to log the everyday experience here too. Proud of you all here in the comments. My starting weight is 58 kg. Day 1: I did the work-out twice. It felt so good. I'm on a caloric deficit too because of PCOS. (But I had a night out later that day. LOL) Day 2: My legs feel so sore. Pretty intense pain. HAHAHA Day 3: My legs and back feel more sore than yesterday. But the workout became easier. (Also got my period today. So, YAY!) Day 4: It's a Sunday and I had a street art gig all day (4 hours worth of squatting), so I was not able to do it. Also walked so much later that night. Day 5: I'm back to doing the routine. It's so much easier!!! And I also have noticed my period cramps have been minimal to non-existent. Current diet: Not that strict. I don't snack and only eat once or twice a day. I try to eat more protein in hopes to build muscle. Day 6: My arms are a little sore today. But above all, i feel so great, just the right amount of sweat, right amount of pain. Maybe I should start adding other workouts too. Day 7: It was hard for me today because I hurt my shoulders yesterday. But I still showed up! *happy seal claps Day 8: Didn't do it today. I lost against my emotions today. Day 9: My back hurts so much but I did it anyways. We have to remind ourselves everyday that motivation is not the key to achieving things and building good habits, just always show up. Period.

Before we start I want to say that 2 weeks prior to this, I tried this workout for a week already. But after that I had 2 weeks off so I decided that now I have to start exercising again. And even before trying this workout for the first time, I haven't done anything like that for several months so I still consider myself a total beginner. Now, I documented 7 days of trying out this routine so you can see how it worked for me and decide if you want to try it as well ^^ Beginning measurments: Waist - 79 cm Tighs - 58 cm Arms - 26 cm Day 1: ✅️ It was just the right intensity for a total beginner like me. It was a bit hard but not too much. Although I couldn't do the active rest cause they were too much. I drank about 1,5 cups of water during this workout. My legs hurt a bit and they are also slightly shaking but I feel energized! Day 2: ✅️ I did it and it was for sure a bit better than yesterday. I even managed to do the active rest for most of the time! I drank one cup of water this time so I am already getting used to the workout. Also, no cramping from yesterday, so yay! Today I don't feel as tired and again, I feel like I got some more energy from that. Day 3: ✅️ Even better than yesterday. The workout is still great intensity but doesn't feel as tiring anymore. I managed to do the active rest for all the rest times. I again drank one cup of water. After even 5 minutes of sitting after the workout my legs or arms don't hurt anymore. I still have the energy to take a shower right after :D Day 4: ❌️ Unfortunetly I couldn't do the workout today. I had a lot of stuff to take care of and didn't find the time for exercise :< Day 5: ✅️ We're back on track. I don't even feel very tired after the workout. My arms were definitely not strong at the end of it but over all, it was much better. Again drank a cup of water and still have the energy to do other stuff. I can for sure see progress in my.... durability??? from day one. Day 6: ❌️ Again i had to much stuff and didn't find the time to work out :/ Day 7: ✅️ I did it. It wasn't any harder than on day 5 but after the 4th set I started to get a little dizzy so I had to slow down a bit. This time I drank about ¾ cup of water. I do feel out of energy but I know this is not because of physical exercise, it's because I have so much more stuff to do T-T. Over all, after a week of trying this routine, I am definitely happy with it. It is just the right intensity for beginners and even through a week I can see progress in my durability (I'm really not sure if this is the right word but I think it is). It also makes me feel better just knowing that I exercise at least 5 days a week now. And trying to document the week of this workout for sure helps with getting motivated and not skipping too many days. Ending measurments: Waist - 76 cm Tighs - 57 cm Arms - 26 cm

I went from 62 to 75kg during lockdown, one of my most hardest times, and then after almost a year, during my freshmen year of college I decided to do something for myself and my health. I started small by doing workout dances like yours and also by Caleb Marshall. even though I wasn't really losing my weight significantly it really motivated me, and made me feel comfortable in moving my body. then I decided to go for a checkup which got me diagnosed with pcos and prediabtes, I took meds, and I also joined a gym and was eating okay, in about some months my weight went down to 62 kg again. but some months ago I moved to US and was finding it hard to find a routine for myself admist the chaos and changes and once again I was becoming the person I was during the lockdown.wasnt moving my body, I started overeating and beating myself down in my head.then last month I missed my period which didn't happen ever since I got diagnosed and just some days ago I checked the scale and it read 71kg. I'm starting to realize how much I was ignoring my health and my needs and how much work I need to put into myself again. so yep I'm back to square one. watching your videos and getting started again. its really hard to find that courage and determination to get started on such journey. you really have to accept and assert yourself and keep that fire alive. anyone who is reading this and going through anything similar you got this! we got this!!
