POWER TOTAL 🌟: Strength Routine for Body 🏋️♀️ and Mind 🧠
Today, we have a new strength routine to work the entire body.
The uniqueness of this routine lies in combining isotonic and isometric exercises in each of the movements. And what does this mean? Each exercise will work certain muscles through movement (contraction and extension) while keeping other muscles stationary, without changing the length of the muscle during the exercise.
Even though a part of the body remains immobile, the maintained posture makes the muscles in that area work significantly. This brings us once again to compound exercises that increase the overall intensity of the training, requiring a higher energy (caloric) expenditure during and after the workout.
Throughout the sequence, I use 5-kilogram dumbbells. Additionally, I want to mention that this routine is low-impact.
