The focus today is lower body definition and strength!! We are working through 7 exercises and 4 finishers to target the legs, glutes, and thighs! The structure for this strength training workout is solid, just like our lower body will be with 20 minutes of push and focus!
The 8 exercises to begin will be where the muscular strength and definition happen! The finisher set will be muscular endurance and definition! The finisher sets will allow us loads of volume in a short amount of time to really put the seal on this strength session!
20-MINUTE LOWER BODY STRENGTH WORKOUT STRUCTURE AND EXERCISES
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- DUMBBELLS- I used a range from 15lbs to 25lbs / 7kg to 11kg When selecting a weight for this workout, you want to lift moderately heavy to heavy! When we reach the finisher rounds we will decrease weight to light to moderate for the goblet squat and add a booty band or mini resistance band for the remaining finisher exercises
- EXERCISE MAT
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
BOOTY BAND OR MINI RESISTANCE BAND
*I WILL BE USING MY EXERCISE BENCH FOR SOME OF THE EXERCISES, BUT A MODIFICATION WILL BE ON SCREEN FOR THE FLOOR OPTION!

7 EXERCISES REPEATED TWICE
WORK: 40 SECONDS
REST: 20 SECONDS
FINISHERS ROUND
4 EXERCISES
WORK: 60 SECONDS

I’m usually a morning workout person, but, as you said, sometimes you have to mix it up because life!! So probably going to be working out in the evenings for the next few weeks. Although I’m tired by the end of the day, you keep me motivated!!! This was so great, thank you! 💕

I like afternoon workouts as a post-work stress reliever but love the morning lives! And do mornings if I know I’ll be busy later in the day. No excuses that way! 😆

I am definitely more of an afternoon/evening workout person! I used yesterday as a rest day…just had to listen to my body! Looking forward to the 30 min ride tomorrow! 😊❤

Switching to morning workouts was a game changer. I feel good all day and I don’t have the “too tired after a long workday” excuse. When I first switched, there was a day that I was whining after work “I don’t want to go to the gymmm” but then was like “wait, I already went!” Love it.
