Haha I've been having my runners do this routine and the comments are always "Holy hell this was hard! What a butt burn." or "so.. so.. so many clams!" haha!
Thanks, Chloe, that was a tough workout; it looks so easy too, just move the knees apart a number of times ;). If I can do this a couple of times a week and start training again, maybe I can return to my former level of racing!

Hello, yes I would think so. Actually, I am usually more inclined to do something like this AFTER a run, or on my off days.. I like to warm up my muscles with some dynamic stretching before, maybe incorporate something that activates these muscles, but I would be too fatigued if I did this 20 min workout before a run, especially a hard one.
