I’m SOOOO HAPPY you included the Sean Taylor hit! He was taken away wayyy too early n he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves! He’s my favorite player ever. Rip Taylor!
When that happened i was going to go to the hospital to be there for mom. She had to be climbing the walls waiting to hear any news. Especially not being around family. Everyone prayed for her son - i prayed for mom. She needed her strength and some for her son.
I feel at this point, pro leagues like the NFL will have to have their players sign a death waiver, if not already. Cause, sports like these will put you 6 ft under, literally. If not today, it will someday. Just like real soldiers on the battlefield. As entertaining as it is to watch, it's still can be life and death out in the field for these players. In the end, we should have some respect those players all for just to entertain and pleasing us.
You're not wrong. There is a great of recency bias here. But, and this is a big but, the video for the Chuck Bednarik hit on Frank Gifford or the Jack Tatum hit on Darryl Stingley is either non-existent or is of very poor quality (compared to the digital video of the last couple of decades). I can see why they would indulge in that sort of recency bias
No nowadays these hits would be flagged, but don't take away from Sean Taylor"s hit which was in 2007 the same year he was killed. Or any of his hits he could of been the the best Safety the game ever saw if not for being Murdered.
Kazee went low. No launch, targeting or helmet to helmet, yet the NFL suspends him for THE REST OF THE SEASON?! How should that tackle have been made?! C’mon Roger Not-So-Goodell🖤💛🏈

Great work, but you guys never mention Tatum. He is by far the hardest hitter ever if you watch his hits he never launched head first, hit a player so hard with his shoulder the players back broke. No player since Tatum hits as hard.
Redzone, you need to look up nfl hits from the 60's, 70's & 80's for starters. If you're going to label this 20 MOST BRUTAL HITS IN NFL HISTORY. JACK TATUM ALONE CAN SCHOOL ALL THESE PLAYERS WITH 20 OF HIS EASIEST HITS. AFTERALL THE MAN WAS CALLED "THE ASSASSIN".
Jeff Heath was a player. Dude was going for the ball btw not trying to KO the wide out. Vontaze Burfict should have been booted from the league long before he ABSOLUTELY scrambled Antonio Brown's brain and arguably ruined not only his career but his life as well. And Damar Hamlin wasn't hit that hard. Just timing.
Yeah i agree QB's need to protect their receivers better and not put them in position of being seriously injured. But at the same time, nothing pisses me off more than to see these GUYS CLEARLY make a dirty hit then stand there and celebrate!!! A guy has just been seriously injured and you're celebrating? Real classy, you should be fined and suspended!!!
Jim McMahon vs The Eagles Daryl Stingley - In a PRE-SASON GAME - Vs The Raiders Drew Bledsoe Vs The Jets Joe Montana Vs The Giants Steve Atwater Drills Okoye All these are way more impactful - Nice try though.
