I have a lot of respect for Nikolaj Ehlers, It wasn't even his teammate that was down. In the chaos, his concern was the injured downed player.. exactly how it should be!
Easily one of the dirtiest hits of all time. Didn't Stevens also blindside Lindros when he didn't have the puck. Was always embarrassed when he would get picked to represent my country. We should have been better as a nation.
@@ianmclaren2354 yeah Stevens elbowed Lindros and effectively ended his career. To be fair, Lindros was throwing his weight around like a lunatic and was a marked man.
Hello, i know this is an unexpected message and its one that not everyone wants but one that everyone needs. You can say what you want, call me names or say I'm delusional, that's okay. But my question to you is, have you ever accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? We have all sinned, each one of us- we have all lied, hated, and said, did and thought things we knew to be wrong. That is called sin. We are all guilty of sinning against God and deserve judgement for it, that judgement being an eternity in the lake of fire. This may sound cruel but if we reject the one avenue of salvation that God has offered us as the solution to our wickedness and sinfulness- his son Jesus Christ- he will have no choice but to sentence you to an eternity in the lake of fire because he cannot allow sin to enter heaven. However despite our sinning against him as much as we do , God loves each one of us so much that he sent His sinless perfect Son, Jesus Christ to the cross as a sacrifice on your behalf. He had your face on his mind as he endured unimaginable abuse at the hands of the romans, was nailed to a cross and shed his blood for you-and if you were the only one on earth, he would have still done it. He rose again and sits at the right hand of the father. He longs to be reconciled to you and forgive you of everything you've ever done wrong and promises you heaven if you repent of your sin and accept him as your Lord and Savior and trust him to wash wash away all your sin. We cannot save ourselves, our own righteousness is like filthy rags. If you hear that small voice inside you telling you that you are guilty of sinning against the most high God, that you can't save yourself from the ultimate penalty of sin and that you need the Savior, don't ignore it! That is God's holy spirit drawing you to himself If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have your sins forgiven, you can pray something like this: Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin. I want to turn from my sin. I accept you Jesus as Savior and confess you as Lord, from now on I want to serve you and follow you for the rest of my life. In Jesus's name, amen It is my sincere prayer that God speaks to your heart with this message and that you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. God leaves that choice up to you. I pray you have a good day and God bless.

So what is Scheifele supposed to do - let him just walk out in front of the net and seal the game? It was a heavy hit, but it did not deserve that suspension. If you are going to go to the front of the net you have to expect that you might be hit. Evans could have just ragged the puck in the corner. The game was still undecided. Scheifele made a hockey play and did not deserve that suspension.
@@NickAntos I disagree with the “at that stage of the game” point. It’s a 1 goal game with a minute left. The game is still up for grabs and Scheifele was trying to prevent a gimme. If he was just walking out into the slot would the Jets have been expected to just let him shoot uncontested? Sorry for the rant, but any integrity player in the league in the same situation would have done the same thing.
@@lrimmfyeah that being said, I agree with you. I think end of game hits always get a negative response from the other team is what I meant. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t clean. He did what he had to do
that was one of the most dirty hits i ever saw. everyone knew that lindros was having to play safe, fresh off a concussion...steven should have been kicked out of hockey permanently.
@@GrantLylick I don’t recall Steven’s getting a penalty. That play was indicative of Lindros playing his whole career with his head down. The stupid ones were Lindros and the Flyers for letting him play if he wasn’t ready. This series was a war and the warrior won.
Bro the hit pasta gave ovi then Marchand came through to hit him while down is hilarious. I love it and I love ovi too but I love exciting hockey even more.
and lets be real nobody wants to hear a stupid voiceover just give me a highlight reel with music. I dont want to hear some cringe commentary. Especially when they call a body check a tackle. I'm convinced this channel doesn't know anything about hockey
Chara almost killed pacioretty League : hes not suspended Everybody else in MTL : 911 SOMEBODY ATTEMPTED MURDER ON MAX PACIORETTY AT BELL CENTER me : wildest team in nhl
That was terrible. Chara had two things going in his favor: it was at least plausible that he hadn't intended what happened, and he didn't have a history of dirty hits. I don't believe he intended to seriously injure, but I think he did a piss poor job of owning what he did. He should have shown genuine concern on the ice for the player he injured, and he should have been profusely apologetic afterward. I don't think he did either.
I’m torn. The videos and clips are great. The commentator comments in clickbait though. Legit, no one feared for their lives. I have a ton of respect for you though taking the time and putting these videos together. I appreciate it. Tone down the drama tho lmao!
Let's be real: The action itself is worthy of a suspension since you can't have players take down others like that. But: It should have never come to this. The initial hit by Cousins should have been a misconduct call with a suspension to boot, if the refs do their job in that situation, he never sees the reason to take it into his own hands. Doesn't mean it is ok he did it, just that you could have prevented the situation in the first place
Cousins slamming Gudbranson into the boards is an example of what happens when the refs suck. Should've been a penalty due to head contact bare minimum, but instead Cousins had to get the old fashioned penalty to hopefully teach him about not slamming peoples heads into the boards.
The hit that knocked Ronnie Stern out cold was way harder than than anything on this list. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-efeaRVroWfM.htmlsi=yOiksVCT58Qxbwgz
its crazy people defend cousins man, that could have been a career ending hit letalone fatal, gets off with a slap on the wrist and gudbranson gets a suspension for revenge. this is hockey not soccer man fuck
Oh, that sounds familiar. Just a few days ago, one of our Fishtown Penguins players got back on the ice after the visor cut off half his nose a few weeks ago. At the penultimate game against a team in the basement of the table, there was a mass brawl. Our guys just wanted to defend their mate because of his nose surgery. As the smallest team in the DEL, we probably made some enemies, but performance is also rewarded by being at the top of the table. ❤REV
