This vid brings back soooo many memories!I started working from CDG in November 97.Infos/anecdotes:One of the AF cargo jumbos (maybe the one pictured here) is the one that crashed in Afghanistan 3 years ago, at the hands of a new owner;TAAG’s aircraft: the tarmac crew talked of a savannah in there, plenty of critters and stuff;Cameroon airline’s 747-100 filmed here intended taking off from a taxiway in Roissy around 1999-2000 and ended up bent and broken there, for ages before being finally scrapped.The Cameroonian minister of transportation was on board that day.Lol.Great vid!

Oh gosh. The horror stories I've heard about Tower Air. Man that Angola Airlines 747 is a looker though. Their present day livery hasn't changed much.

People say that aircraft spotting is so much fun and full of great excitements because they can observe those airplanes takeoff and landing, depending on the runaway directions, also aviation spotters can identify the name of and airline and aircraft models.

This was for sure the golden years for the 747

This is what we SHOULD see in the world today to keep up with the large amount of people travelling by air. I feel these babes have so much untapped potential that should be expanded on in the future, particularly the domestic 747 which is gone.

A fascinating documentary on airlines that mostly no longer exist. For the survivors, it shows how much airline liveries have improved over the last 20 years. I assume that the third-world carriers must have outsourced their 747 heavy maintenance checks?

Boeing 747 was ,is,and will be KINGBOF THE SKY.Such shame that Boeing didnt make DOUBLE DECKER 747,it would be much prettier than A380(so ugly plane by my opinion,doesnt matter it is so massive)
