Hey Bob, many congratulations on 200 subscribers dude! We are tracking nicely together my friend 😎 This is a lovely chassis and a classic touring car! Thanks so much for sharing fella 👍🏻🙌🏻
Thanks Craig!!!! She needs a bit of tuning to drive well but it is what it is. I had the same kit when it came out but sold it off about 3 months after I bought it. I bought this and the Calibra at the same time (@ 1996). Now I have both again. Thanks for being with me, and I'll always follow you!!!
CONGRATS on your 200 ! You’re at 204 now and counting. I’ve had that “tight” ball end issue many times before, Ive used kingpin screws in place of ball ends temporarily for that reason. The car looked to switch direction quickly in the slalom! Good run to showcase it, it didnt understeer as bad as I imagined, but im sure a good driver helps with that. Thank you for the shout out I appreciate that! Keep doing whatever feels natural and keep it simple! 🥂🍻
Thanks REX!!!! Oh, it did understeer real bad, doing the switch backs, I was on & off the throttle. I think the molded shaped inserts in the front hurt it, I'll try a set of foam tires next time. As for the rear adjustable upper links (the car came with them), I put a set of new stock ones on, I'll have to check the camber, if it's bad, I'll use your tip of the kingpin screws (step screws). I'm a Grunt first and foremost, I'm not a talker but I can yell very well, I an not a videographer, I have ZERO pc/laptop skills (wasn't a thing when I was in school, we did have typewriters though, LMAO). As for the set up, I forget if it's hard in the front and soft in the rear..... sounds bad, for the best handling. Dude, you gotta do that race next time, without the "Money" shot... LMAO again.... Thanks Man, for all you do!!!!!!
Congrats on passing the 200 mark!!! Thanks for sharing the super cool car with us as well! I like the design on that one and the chassis is really cool! I need to get me some of those low cons like that too! They ones I have are too heavy and I always end up hitting them so I don't use them anymore, I loved the run through of the car an seeing it out running!
Thanks Addam!!! I got those cones off Amazon, not sure how many came with the set (me thinks @ 80 or so) and carrying "stand" that don't really work. I'm going to do some work on the car, shock oil, tires (maybe foams), springs.... Thanks again for all the help, views & comments man, means a lot!!!!!
Thanks M8!!! This is a school Madmustang RC & I like to run. So happy you approve of the car, not many around anymore. It is so hard keeping up with channels but I do my best, I may not always comment but I do watch!!! Thanks again Darren for the view, comment & sub!!!!!
Thanks Damien!!!! I did plan on a Modified Brush motor shootout, but I don't have very many and most are 10 to 20 years old (if not older). Plus it's mostly all Trinity (Epic) motors. A few I don't even know the turns of the motors. I'll try to put something together over the next few months, It will give me something to do. Thanks again for the view & comment!!!!
Hi Bob, congratulations my friend on breaking that 200 subscribers barrier. FF-01 chassis, that’s one I haven’t got, It’s interesting how the driving characteristics of the front wheel drive system, replicates the full size car, when you’re expecting too much of the front wheels to power and steer at the same time. Great little video, cracking looking Vauxhall Vectra body (I know, in the US, it’s Opel 😎😁). Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😁😁
Hiya John!!! Thanks for being with me on this journey. Yes I called it a Vauxhall/Opel in the video. She needs some tuning to run well but I know it wont see much running from me. ATB M8 to you & yours!!!!
Hi there Bob! Very cool car there mate, I see what you mean about the filming issues but I really enjoyed it all the same. You have a great channel and a great personality that truly comes across! Wishing you all the best in the future on RU-vid, I'll be following all the way my brother! Take care 🙂
Thank You Brother, as I said before, if it wasn't for You & Rob, I would not be doing this (Blame them Jen, LOL). You and Rob helped me more than you know, so hats off to you two blokes!!!! Through you guys, I learned a lot, got new friends and 2 new brothers!!!! ATB Mate and I will be following you as well!!!!
Thanks Man, Thanks for the view & Comment!!!!! I'm not much of a videographer, not much of a talker (I can yell really good); I'm a grunt, I just like to get things done.
Thanks Guys (I'm assuming it's both of you)!!!!! It's an old chassis but the body can still be found on the FF03 chassis kit (some are still around here in the US). I painted and decaled the body when my daughter built & painted her TT02 Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge kit, Her car rips with the Tamiya BZ motor. Thanks again Fella's, means a lot to me!!!!
@@UncleBobsRC , thanks! It’s hard to keep up with all the channels and vids. Sometimes I just watch and leave a thumbs up. I think we all into the rc hobby do it for fun 👍🏾
@@3TRCGarage Right on brother, I watch a lot of vids through the PS4 on the tv, can't leave comments that way, but a thumbs up I can. By the time I get on the laptop, I forget to go back and comment, some times.
