Join along as Chris and myself (Travis) tackle the clearing of 2000' of barbed wire fence. The fence clearing project has been broken into 2 parts since there is another barbed wire fence running east/west through the middle of the property. The fence clearing project is located a few miles east of Manhattan, Ks. The landowner continues to have her steers escape from her property due to the barbed wire fence being so overgrown with all sorts of trees, saplings and brush. There are many trees that have grown up between the 3 strands of barbed wire. This unwanted growth has caused the barbed wire to become stretched out and in some places the wire has been broken. Watch as Chris uses the ASV RT135 and Prinoth M450 mulching head to clear out the fence line. Also being used are Stihl chainsaws and a Stihl trimmer with a brush cutter attachment.
