2000 focus ignition tumbler repair 

I got to the last step and when I put the tumbler into the ignition slot it would not let me remove the tumbler and my key is stuck inside. Any thoughts as to how this could happen? There is nothing visible when I look in that little hole where the tab was on the old tumbler. I'm thinking that i put it in the wrong way.

You just take the chip out and fit into new key, use a pick to remove !

it sticks because you did not grease it before you put it together.

That's replacing, not repairing the cylinder.
