Just bought a 1999 extended high top Ford E350

Hi, thanks for the comment. The main advantages of coils with our setup is: 1) Factory spring rate is original to the van, 2) Tighter turning radius than earlier axles, 3) Larger brakes without custom modifications and 4) No issues with any of the traction control flavors, or additional mods needed. If a van is properly dialed and has good steering components with our setup, no death wobble will happen. Even on vans we build with 37s, we run a tiny little 30$ stabilizer, because nothing larger is needed. If they're dialed, they ride and stay riding great.

I’ll add one more thing coil sprung vans have a nicer ride than a leaf springs van. I have both, if you like how a 90’s series truck drives go leaf springs, if you want a more modern progressive ride go coil. I’ve have driven a lot of Tim’s awesome vans, as we have them come in to us for up fit from time to time. If you want a well build reliable van go with Timberline you won’t be disappointed!
