I haven’t seen you pop up on my list in a while. Nice to see some new videos. Can you do some b6 and b7 s4 videos? Also your audio is very quiet compared to other videos. I know we can adjust our volume but it would just be nicer when clicking around watching different things. :) keep up the good work man!
Would it be possible to fit a Audi b5 s4 fuel pump into a Audi b5 a4? Reason why I ask is because I have a friend that is willing to give me his s4 fuel pump to replace my bad a4 fuel pump.
ECS doesn't have those as interchangeable; however if you're getting the pump for next to nothing you could try anyway. If you have to transfer the pump into your existing pump basket and re-clamp the fittings you could succeed.
Where I live it's really hard to find s4 transmissions (manual 6spd) can I swap a 5spd into one with the a4 drive shaft? I might acquire a s4 with a bad auto and wish to swap it to a 5spd
I have the 2005 version of this car. It's an automatic. Can I take out the transmission with the engine in the car? I want to get the torque converter out so I can have it rebuilt.
You most certainly can but i think it's worth pulling the motor too. If you follow Justin's engine pull video, it is pretty much the identical process for the C5. Reason for pulling the motor too, is that there are many items you may want to tackle while the motor is out. When I had my motor out, I replaced my turbo coolant lines as one of them was ready to burst. It would have been impossible to do in the car. I just did the torque converter job on my allroad too! What a difference with the new torque converter!
@@djmips I have a 2 post hoist and an engine hoist. Having the 2 post hoist definately makes life easier not having to work on your back for sure. I have done the engine pull with the car on jackstands though.
