Agree with you not much of a GM fan due to reliability trust but definitely respect Camaro and Corvette they the only 2 GM products I'd buy besides the firebird trans am back in 2003 high school days the Camaro and mustang was in every highschool parking lot

They didn't discontinue it tho. They're even making a 2017 camaro already

there was a 8 year period where the camaro was not produced, the discontinued the camaro and brought it back....... even today its not on its own platform. long live the fbody, 1967-2002 RIP. the 5th and 6th gens share their architecture with another model car (i cannot remember what that car is). the fbody was firebird and camaro ONLY. GM had to do that to save production costs, use an existing architecture. not saying i dont like the newer camaro, its just not the same as a purpose built fbody.

Kyle Koewler my first camaro was a iroc z28 . I have owned 2 v6 fourth gens ever since and just by reading your comment I definitely have to agree.. A legend indeed. The ss's are always sweet but the Z's will always be a beast in its own rights.

I don’t. Owner of a t-top 2000 z28 Camaro here, they’re ugly and inconvenient to use. They also heat your car up to 4 times the temp of hell if your sunshades are missing like mine are.

They leak, they overcook the interior, they cause the colors to fade (especially with leather)

yeah my dads v6 isnt the best for comfort. But I bet that LS makes it worth it. Hows your mpg? considering purchasing one but a bit worried about it being gas muncher

It's fairly nice on the highway, but it has a small fuel tank, so fill ups while driving city were bad. Rural and suburban driving wasnt too bad

Get some Koni Shocks & Strano Springs/Swaybars. Adjustable Panhard, and LCA's, and you'll notice a huge improvement in ride quality.
