Can you give me advice on removing the banjo bolt? Mine is stuck. Unfortunately the union washer (not sure if that’s the correct name) is turning, but not the bolt. Any feedback would be appreciated! 🙏🏽

Let me guess, the shop manual says to put the lock carrier into service position :) It always says that, but this proves that if you really don't want to put it in service position, you'd don't have to.

So do I remove that to drain the oil

I have a question, is the power steering rack from a 02 Audi A4 compatible with a 04 A4 ?

I replaced my pump with a known hood oem pump but now I get very hard steering at low engine rpm. Any suggestion? I tried hand vacuum pump on reservoir, as suggested by different RU-vidr, but then found vacuum line from intake manifold to reservoir is allowing air into reservoir, so trying to vacuum pump out air bubbles from steering is futile. If I rev engine even to just 2,000 it steers fine, but any slow parking lot maneuvers are very difficult to keep engine slightly up in rpm.

My banjo bolt is leaking! Any idea of the torque spec for the bajo bolt? I have new washers and don't want to over crush the new ones too much.

Did you remove the fan shroud? I don't see where there is any room to even use tools to remove the bolts

CHF 202 for this car and any requiring CHF 11s. CHF 202 is the new and improved version.

Well the audi dealership in Anchorage Alaska wants $ 2, 000 dollars to do this job, I think thats a major rip-off.
