2002 was another fine year in Movies.
The Top 3 earners were :
1. Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers.
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
3. Spiderman.
There was a fair amount of decent International Movies on display in 2002 ● City of God ( Brazil), Whale Rider ( New Zealand), Hero & Infernal Affairs ( China), Rabbit Proof Fence ( Australia), Bloody Sunday ( Ireland).
Denzel Washington (Antoine Fisher) and George Clooney ( Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) but made their directorial debuts. Matt Damon made his first appearance as Jason Bourne. Adam Sandler starred in his first drama ( Punch Drunk Love). Comedy Legend Robin Williams played a villain twice in One Hour Photo and Insomnia. Ben Affleck took on the role of Jack Ryan ( The Sum of All Fears) and Collin Farrell was making a name for himself in Harts War and Minority Report. And Pierce Brosnan played James Bond for the last time ( Die Another Day).
Back in 2002 my top 10 went something like this :

5. Below.
6. Spiderman.
7. 28 Days Later
8. We were Soldiers
9. Bubby Ho Tep.
10. The Ring.

4. Road To Perdition.
5. Signs.
6. Bloody Sunday.
7. Whale Rider.
