Excellent video I’m surprised you use the low reverse wave plate I personally remove them in most builds that aren’t completely stock and correct clearances accordingly
I noticed you do not soak your clutches? I have seen some builders soak them and some that don’t. Is it necessary to soak or is it better to put them in dry?
Some builds I do and some I don't. If you allow the transmission to run and idle for 30 minutes, the lubrication circuits will soak everything in the same amount of time necessary as you would building the unit with the clutches soaked. My high horsepower builds always get soaked prior to assembly. Every rebuilder has their own technique. Not all of mine are built the same.

I measured the frictions and steals, apply plates, and wave springs prior to setting everything up wet. It gives me a better idea of where my tolerances are going to be and I make adjustments where necessary. But the units I ship out are completely soaked and the units built in the house are dry and ran for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow the unit to lubricate itself before running an all gear ranges and performing a test drive. Each builder has do’s and don’ts.
