Can you explain the difference between the transjel colors and also between transjel and grease? The guy who showed me how to rebuild just used a quality red grease. Thank you for your video and showing how to assemble this unit. Gettin ready to pull one to do myself.
Just have a question I’ll make it short as possible 13 Silverado 1500 4x4 5.3 4L60e. HD reman trans installed upon getting it back ran great now it has a hard down shift doesn’t matter if you’re on Highway or cruisin city street. Hard enough it rocks you in your seat. Shop said it was engine related. Changed maf accelerator pedal and tps still have same issue. Any thoughts
I have an 05 Silverado 5.3L Z motor with a 4L60E trans. Aprox 170K miles. What are the most common failures/upgrades to make on this trans? I'm an ex-GM tech currently working at Chrysler. I'm the orig owner and want to keep this truck going for a while longer. I'd like to locate and source parts prior to tear down if possible. I don't know any machine shops here on Long Island that can or will machine pumps so I will probably replace it with new. Can you recommend a good torque converter brand? I've been watching your videos and respect your opinion. The engine is stock it's my daily driver. I'm not looking for a performance build just reliable. I'd appreciate any advice and help you could offer. Thank you
Hey! Awesome build man! I follow you on tik tok as well and I was wondering if I could get some advice about a 4L60E in a 98 Z71. It was my mom's truck and has been gifted to me. It will not shift into overdrive at all. 1-2 2-3 all fine. Any and all that can help will be appreciated.
