I have here on puerto rico a same s10 zr5 yellow off road package. Right now after 8 months i hope get it home again. A full overhall rebuild made, plus all ignition and charging system replaced and a lot more. Full ac and 4by4 working. Now 0 miles on motor.
I’ve got one of these trucks with the leather trim, love it to death. Only complaint is lack of a tow mode. Edit: Glad I watched this. It answered most of the questions I had about my truck. I’m glad these kind of archives exist.
This video is so biased hahaha. I own a Tacoma of this generation and it’s an amazing truck. Much more reliable and I’d take it any day over the Chevy. But on the other hand there’s something about these zr5 s10 trucks. I’d say for the money you save buying one of these two trucks in 2022 the Chevy would be a better deal if you can find one in good shape.
Kinda surprised by how many features the ZR5 has compared to my friends 03 base S10. Roll down windows, no cruise control, no storage. Very bare bones truck.
Forget that ZR5 I’ll take the Toyota Tacoma all day long that interior looks cheap in the Chevy because it is cheap and that Toyota will def outlast that Chevy I’ve only seen a few of those ZR5 on the roads but tons of Tacoma’s but this is interesting to watch
True I mean you can take care of the engine and stuff but that interior is definitely on that Chevy going to fall apart for sure the build quality and fit and finish is nowhere the same
@@jeromep3182 Toyota has been ahead of the long lasting car game for thirty years. In fact, I believe most other manufacturer's make SURE their products fail. Look at today's cars...throw aways...except for Honda and Toyota.
