That's way worse during the week. Staying calm is always the best choice in most situation, otherwise you might do things in a rage and will regret getting out of bed that day. But it was a long hard learning process, do get to that point.
@@notempolimit ....aaaaaand it's getting worse and worse on German roads. Many drivers forget how to check their blind spot and use their turn signals... In addition, they don't know how mirrors work or what they're even for. Following the motto: 'I don’t care what happens after me...'

Thank you! If you know the shifting points it can be descently quick. I maxed it out at 239kph GPS that was about 247kph on the speedo. I have some BMW'S already filmed I just have to find time to cut the videos, so stay tuned.
@@notempolimit Yes, BMWs are usually faster than what the numbers suggest. 239 kph???????? This is what some cars with powers in excess of 200 PS try to achieve! I'm extremely anxious to watch your next videos! I respect you!!
240 bei ungefähr 6400 Upm.... Das müsste dann eigentlich der 5. Gang sein oder? Ich kann nirgends finden ob der 6. Beim Benziner Schalter ein Schongang sein soll!?!?!? In der Anleitung steht auch nichts darüber in welchem Gang die Höchstgeschwindigkeit erreicht werden kann.
@notempolimit Danke für die schnelle Rückmeldung. Hab meinen E60 im Jahr 2004 neu gekauft und bis heute nur einmal wirklich freie Bahn gehabt.... Jepp 220 im 6..und unter 4000 upm keiner Zuhause. Dafür aber flüsterstill und auf Langstrecke deutlich unter 7 Liter!!! In jetzt fast 20 Jahren hatte ich an echten Defekten : Eine schwitzende Ventildeckel Dichtung, eine schwitzende Ölfilter zum Block Dichtung, einmal alle Querlenker neu wegen ausgetrockneten Gummi Buchsen und einen defekten Anlasser (Kohlen runter). Bei entsprechender Wartung ist er praktisch unverwüstlich! Ein großartiges Fahrzeug das mich niemals im Stich gelassen hat. Leider war wohl der M54 Motor das letzte Meisterstück deutscher Ingenieurskunst und danach gab es nur noch Mittelmaß..... Meinen E60 verkaufe ich niemals!
Tolles Auto und gut gefahren! Ich hatte auch einen E61, allerdings als 545i. Und einen der seltenen mit Schaltgetriebe, man war das ein tolles Auto! Da schafte man ohne Probleme mit dem 6. Gang die 250. Danke fürs zeigen
The comparison with the 550i is interesting. Obviously they are miles apart in acceleration, one being almost twice as powerful as the other. But in terms of top speed it's closer than you might expect, and certainly the 525i seems to be enough for real-world daily driving. With a 530i it would be even closer. In both cars you notice how smooth and quiet the car remains even at silly speeds. BTW I thought German drivers were supposed to be very good at lane discipline....? didn't show it in this clip!
Yes you have twice the power, but in terms of fuel consumption the 550i is only averaging 3L more per 100km. Lot of people in Germany are very disciplined in lane keeping, but you always find some bricks that aren't.

Nop, that is false information. Maybe if you live in non populared area, you can have that km/L relation. In City ( Berlin ) it is on 14 - 17l . Depend of trafic.
I get 10-13 in Christchurch with a pretty good city design, 11-14 in new plymouth where there's lots of hills. the guy saying 13-17 must have lots of traffic
