Loved this year mach1

My 03 had 4.56 gears, drag struts and shocks, both sway bars, removed, Eaton with 31 spline Strange axles, welded axle tubes, axle brace, Subframe connectors, changed out the brakes to standard GT for 15 inch Weld rims with ET Street drag tires fitment out back, Tremec T-500, ford racing aluminum driveshaft, cold air intake, ford racing shortie headers, non-catted BBK x-pipe, Magnaflow mufflers, polyurethane engine mounts, Predator dyno tuned “chip”, dynoed at 330 rwhp, 350 rwtq before the 4.56’s! Ran best at 12.5@110 probably 12.2-3 at sea level, at Fontana California Dragway which is at 1128 ft above sea level with a DA that day at 2100ft, with a 1.5 60ft, and 7.9 in the 1/8th.Was 300 rwhp 315 rwtq stock. Definitely underrated hp. I sold it in 2013 regrettably for 16k. Had a dark shadow grey. 36 k miles on it mostly track. Dumped the clutch (Mcleod) bouncing off the revv limiter to achieve 1.5 60 ft. Installed a line lock too. It swatted and would yank my 15 in. Weld skinnies up in the air for a second.

Looked like a fun time at the track. 12.5 isn't bad, just need to work on that 60 foot.

A think a slick and steeper gear would help it. It isn't getting to really get into the power band in 4th before you cross the stripes. These na 4v need aggressive gearing not sure what gear you're running but I'd get steeper ones.

The days of the fun Mustangs are gone forever as I've lost 5 fox body Mustangs as well in a SN95 to Rust in Ohio and there Majorly Salty Roads and the New Edge Mustangs are No where to be found So enjoy while you can As Ford isn't Smart Enough to Bring them back

Yeah man pretty sure you already know but if you’re going for the best times get some slickss, but you got a fast car there, although don’t launch too hard pretty sure you’ll break an axle if you have a stock rear end.

Get that 60 down and you’ll be in the 11’s where it should be.👍

That 60ft is killing you. I know from experience lol. I love your channel. I have done so much with my mach over the years. It's fun watching someone else. My best time to date was 10.7 at 124 in it. That was on a 200 shot. On a 150 it did 11.12 at 119 and na it did 12.9 at 106. If you want to know the mods it took to get each time let me know I would love to talk.

I can see super high 11’s with this set up, you just need a pair of slicks and some good driving. You know what’s funny about those BMW’s is that I’ve raced the Mercedes’ SUV’s that put out about the same horsepower as those bmw SUV’s in my bone stock Mach 1 and have beat them from a dig several times! Even beat a brand new twin turbo v8 G-wagon before he started to reel me in slowly at the top of 3rd gear

Man those things were slow.....just anemic and uninspiring as they accelerate. It's like they rev but don't accelerate.

You did well. Like everyone on here is saying slicks. My friends use all slicks on his Boss at the track. Why did they keep you in the right lane. Makes me wonder if that side may have been bad

Bro honestly is no one going to mention track conditions watching on video i can see they wasn't the best better conditions and you woulda had the 11 mark for sure
