As a fellow Mach 1 owner I appreciate your in-depth videos and info. The car is obviously special, and unique with this work done to it. Congrats guys.
My 2004 Mach 1 has 5400 miles on her, and yes she's competition orange also! Someday I may do some performance upgrades, but truly, I love it the way it is! Thanks for the video you do a great job👍
@@tomkjr1 exactly... you know the new ones should have either been 5.2xs engines or na 5.2 predator engines... not taking any respect from the coyote. It just belongs to the gt! Mach 1 was always a little brother to the snakes!
@@ranware2779 No doubt! Funny thing, when I bought my first Terminator 6 years ago, I had originally been looking for a boosted Mach 1. I just found a great Terminator deal first. Both cars are beautiful!
My NA Mach ran a full half second faster in the first and last couple months of the racing season than it did in the summer, from consistent 12.1 to barely being able to pull a 12.5, that’s a HUGE drop in power. It hated warm air. I’m sure there are a couple more things you could spend $ on, but I’d certainly say the 130 degree inlet temp hurt and she has a good amount more in her simply from doing a dyno on a cool day. Beautiful Mach you got me drooling over here.
I think you added the intake spacer? there is lots of porting you can do on the stock manifold I did mine. 410 = 483 crank. pretty respectable Ryan considering its a 4.6 and like couldn't pick a hotter day; 130 Wow I would be paralized being a Canadain LOL. Sure screams sounds great! Its a street car so your not sacrificing low end power. Good Job. See Richard Holder Dyno tests videos on youTube on these 4V's he proved power drops off at 6500 stock intake. I am stalling on my build its all there now ready except I checked piston / valve clearence and guess what?? I should have got the valve reliefs cut in pistons. So we are going back to Muscle Motors disassemble etc to get pistons machined. So its a winter project now. I have been waiting to see this excellent Video!!!
It's all good no damage we used checker springs dial gauge to find out after degree of cams. According to the compression calculators I am at 10.3: 1 Our summers are so short and this virus i just wanted to enjoy the great outdoors. Cheers
Told you lol shortrunner intake and rev it on up. Your making peak power at 6200 which is where stock cams do as well , its due to intake restriction. Once you can rev on up those cams will shine and make you some power. Basically you want to copy your gen 1 around 7800 -8000 rpm redline.
Back In 04 was at the dealer my ex wife was buying a car and they gave me the keys to a brand new mach 1 and said go see what u think..all I heard was u can't afford this, you better not even be thinking about this...should have dumped her and bought the car
Bro this was inspiration can you send me a list of mods to bulletproof my 03 mach 1 and exactly what I need to build my bottom end im not made of money but if I can get my engine bulletproof is be happy
You said you added 1 point of cr. So what is your current cr ratio? Do you have any more info on the heads? You said 'Hi flow', so were they actually ported or just cleaned up?
Where yall out seems like yall dont post much anymore , did u run the white mustang again just with the lund tune ? How bout against your s197 ? Yall lookin into doing intake ??
